...is what i'm going to try to do here. Ok, this is about the little CYS Civil War that has been going on here. Everyone is picking a side. And that's Simpson's (ipod) or JJJ's side. JJJ, Simpsons said that he made the game because you were constantly telling him "He sucks" and that he should lewave the site or something like that. That sure doesn't excuse what he did, but seriously, why did you do that? When I joined the site, I sure as hell wasn't all that good. A 4 and a 5 rating for my first two games. That is a crappy rating if you ask me. you never told me to qiut. Never said I was wothless. I don't know if you saw "potential" in me that you didn't see in Simpsons, or whatever, but still. You picked on him for not being a good writer is what I have heard in different topics. Now, i'm not saying this excused what he did. I'm just saying that he was provoked into it. He didn't decide, "you know what would be fun? Copying someone's story. I'm gonna go do that."  JJJ, please don't take this as me siding with Ipod, and Ipod, don't see it as me siding with JJJ. I'm trying to keep this site from losing two members for something that should have been fixed.

what simpsons did was majorly wrong. that was supposed to have been dropped. it was dealt with. all moved on. as for primates, some say it was copying other say it wasnt, its not all clear and cut dry. so, lets just all chill. 3j will continue to be around. and more members will come on and do just as good if not better stories in the future. so everyone chill. they were dealt with, the stories in question were gotten rid of. if you wanna complain that it wasnt dealt with properly, fine, its your right to do so. however, it was dealt with as per teh rules that were laid down. i for one have moved on, if you want to go with me then you must move on too.

That's another thing, it wasn't dealt with properly. Plagerism (spelling) is a law! I heard that Havacoman made an account  called March5thOO and lost  a huge amount of posts BECAUSE it was done to a creator of the site. Someone breaks the law, and no one does shit! ASnd the thing between JJJ and Ipod has NOT been solved, look through the recent posts in the lounge!

if 3j wants to claim plagirism, then let him sue simpsons. as for primates, he most likely dont have a case. but either way its up to 3j to do something. the mods of the site have done what they can.

This is my argument.

1. Unpublishing a game does not fix the problem.  It does not put it in the past, and it doesnt help much.

2. Whats stopping another 10 people from doing it?

3. On infinite story this happened twice.  The first time it was brought to the owners attention and do you know what happened?  The community was BEHIND the author it happened to, there was no bullshit about "oh... its all fixed" and the person in question got BANNED and IP BANNED.. No warnings, no point penalty, no jack shit.  The second time it wasnt brought to the owners attention and the user in question was completely and utterly heckled by the community. He left.  Thats the way it should be.  Wtf is this? People not taking sides is  bad enough (DV13), but people saying "Its dealt with", now thats bs (sorry but NATE).

4. I dont give a danm if your a nice kid simpsons, you copied my fricken game. If I provoked you then effin live with it.  Your games sucked, all I did was point out the obvious. End of story.

5. 100 points? 100 Danm points was all he got hit with? Thanks for a massive penalty there guys.  I wrote a featured game in 90 minutes.  (Hockey fantasy pool - theres a 100 points)

Fuck, I was worried you would get mad. Please don't at mad at me, jjj. Please understand that the reason i'm not taking sides is because 95% of the site is with you, 5% of the site is with ipod. And those people are fighting and arguing. If i was forced to take a side, it would have to be yours. You convinced me with that post about infinitestory. but, you can see I was starting to side with you in this topic a few posts ago.

Yes and I appreciate that.  This whole situation is bullshit.  The fact that we arent even united makes us all look like complete fools.  Infinite Story Community > CYS community

umm...i really need to work on the exageratting thing. i meant with the whole Infinite story is better stuff. Yeah, that's not bashing, but one day your saying infinite story sucks,  and the next it's better than cys. that makes cys below sucking to you is what i thought.

The rules are clear.  Plaigarize once - lose 100 points and have your game gone.  twice and your banned.  This is clear.

Havacom got a warning for making a fake march account.  Even then he got two chances.

I said it before, I won't waste time on this issue, but talk it out if you must.  It just makes us look like asses.

JJJ, you left once before because of your temper (and for a silly reason).  I won't play into dramatics.

and it allows for people who are mediocre writers in the beginning to grow over time to be great writers.  That's our hope.  JJJ, your first games werent' great, but mattias was AWESOME.  

Plus, i'm ruthless with my two strike policy.  I will ban for something little (like our cute little death to mag game or a recent individual who wrote on the forums completely in ebonics.) Those that are going to make mistakes will do so  - i promise.  Either that or they'll become community members.

For the rest of you, make sure you forward me the URL to any posts that cross the line.

See anyone who wants to come join me on Infinite story.  Ill give it a shot over there.  If I dont like it, then I guess the CYS scene just isnt for me.  I'll make sure not to submit too many things over there, wouldnt want to get completely taken advantadge of now would I.

Funny thing is, it looks like primates and simpsons pretty much got what they wanted - JJJ gone.  Does that mean they win the argument? 

It's a silly reason to leave (somebody wasn't punished enough?) but to each his own.  To the rest of the community, don't worry!  JJJ's stories will live on through our friend "deletedgames"

completely pointless. 3j and MAG/CYS still hold the rights to the stories as before. nothing changed except he left. totally pointless. but as i have said before, he will be bakc eventually,

you didnt change anything one way or the other. 3j was gonna do this no matter what people did. he wasnt happy with the rules that were set up before he even came to the site. this was bound to happen. 3j just wants to cause controversy. what i meant when i said this was all pointless was the actions of 3j, not you. you did what you felt was best for the site, you should get points for that. lol but seriously, you did your best, i commend you for that. however, this was going to happen no matter what. but things will be back to normal soon. and we will also have more members in the future too. lets all keep our eyes on the big picture here, the future of MAG/CYS.

sigh, i dont get how you can leave the site. the rule has already been stated and if he does it again, he will be further dealt with (i.e. banned).

the admins of this site are not getting "paid" to do their jobs so stop bitching to them how to do their jobs...

also.... forget it... its pointless to try anything when someone is being irrational... i just hope you put the same effort at IS as you did here, because you will be just as good there as you were here! good luck and have fun there!

Yep. he deleted them. I really wish I could do something to make him come back, he was one of the coolest members on the site. The arguements about plagerism, and that Simpsons and primates weren't punished enough.

yes, they were taken down. so that begs the question, what games will fill the void of his featured games? Paul!!! im counting on you to pop out 5 good stories within a month lol oh, and all in different categories!!!

That guy named JJJ who supposedly just left, I side with. Plagiarism is bad and Ipod/Simpsons or whatever shouldn't have done it. That doesn't mean I hate ipod, but still it was just dumb okay?
