It was a simple text based game where you create a band and rise through the rankings for a certain amount of time til you reach the top. I am working on a similar concept. But was wondering if anyone would like to help. I have the core skeleton and even written things out, I just need someone to help me create the technical side of things. I am aware already how few times asking has worked, but I would really like to finish this one. It has been too long since I last wrote something.

Only game I remember was one that came out for the Commodore 64 back in the 80s called Rock Star Ate My Hamster where you had to put together a band, manage them (Publicity, tours, etc) and get 4 gold records within a year to win.

All the band members you could pick from of course were all parodies of the 80s most popular musicians at the time (and some from the 70s)

I remember hearing about that. But I never played it. Those old games were awesome though.

I am useless at technical stuff.  But I loved that rock star game. 

Yeah, it was one of my favorites back in the day. Hopefully I can get in a flow this month and get a good core of it done before this summer really picks up for me.
