Post Apocalyptic Contest Story-Game

This is not a motivation thread.  I came here to ask for advice.

Should I just scrap what I currently have and restart?  I have only about 13 pages done.  I'm a bit reluctant to do so, with the deadline and holidays so near.

How do you expect a valid opinion here if we have no idea what you've done so far?

13 pages isn't a lot, so if you're stuck after only 13, starting over with something new would be for the better.

I mean, I have no idea why you'd want to restart to begin with, so I can't give you a yes or no answer, lol.

I'm not giving anything away about my story.  Sorry.

But it just seems that my story so far, is a little... disorganized.  It's just very unpleasant to read.

Screw it.  I can't restart now.  I'll just have to mass edit.

The deadline isn't that near and 13 pages isn't really that much.

If you really dislike what you written that much, then you should just scrap it.

Mass editing is probably going to take longer than just scrapping it and starting over.

I have less than 10 pages ready but i have a large outline of the story in my head and on real-life paper.

I'm not thinking of quitting but im thinking of having two entries for the contest, although im not sure  .i'll finish the second.

You can't submit a second game unfortunately.  Madglee updated the thread about the story game contest specifically stating so.

I'm scrapping mine. I only have a few pages, and the ones I have aren't that good.

I'm not in the contest but am making a PA story anyways as I'd set out to do so prior to the announcement (that I missed alas).

If it's any help there are some storylines you could explore.

Family trapped in the city, maybe they'd made some preparations but need to venture out into the city?

Well-prepared survivors fend off the raider hordes? Good for combat sequencing and action.

Or maybe write it as the bad guys trying to survive as raiders?

Can some one tell me how long it takes for the music to begin playing when you get to the title screen?

Oh, that's because he turned off "sneak preview" so people wouldn't be able to read his game prematurely.

Yeah sorry.  I turned off sneak preview.

I am probably not going to finish this.  I feel like this contest should be inspiring me more than it has been already, but it just seems to be keeping me distracted.  I totally want to finish this story for the deadline, but I don't want to rush this story, so I am not going to finish the story by January.  I'm going to focus on my other projects a bit more than I have for the past month.  Sorry guys, but... yeah.  I'm a bit bummed too.  Very bummed that I am "quitting" already.
