is it just me or has anyone stopped making a quality game just because they got lazy and deleted the story

I made a game and was near completion but deleted it cause i just got to lazy to type 2 more pages

Ya people i made read it liked it but i was frustrated that it wasnt good enough

How many pages did you have written? 200? 100? 50? 25? 10? 1? ... 0?

like 47 they had about 4 paragraphs each

You deleted 47 pages because you were too lazy to finish 2?

I'm confused: was it quality or not?  

First you were hypothetically discussing deleting a quality story because you were too lazy to finish it.  Then you said you specifically had just deleted a story that people told you was good because you were frustrated by . . . ?  It not being as good as you want?

I sometimes used to delete things, but not anymore.  Now I just let them sit in my Storygames queue, because maybe I'll decide to work on them again. You never know.

Adding to what Seth said... I have a great bunch of old writings I keep on file in case I either want to work on them again, re-master an old idea, or simply compare how my writing skills or rhetoric have evolved. Flash drives are fairly cheap, so I never delete anything once it gets beyond 1k words.

EDIT: A lot of writers tend to think their own work is crap.

One game. It would be a Western-based one, but I lost the muse for a lot of it.

I haven't deleted any of them, but I definitely just stop working on them for a long time until I want to come back. Recently I've been working on a page or two here and there. It's slow but I'm in a progressive mood this last few weeks.
