Murdering Midget! As the title indicates, this game includes a murdering midget - what more could you need in a storygame? I'm glad you asked.

This game appears to be one of the older games on the site, and it is fairly well done considering some others from that era. The description gives a warning about graphic realism, but in relation to other games it is pretty tame.

The concept is straightforward; you make choices to survive a murderer. In this case, this murderer happens to be a midget, but unfortunately his stature does not really provide any uniqueness to the plot.

I guess trying to survive a murderer qualifies for the horror section, but the narrative never really brought any scare. This was a bit disappointing especially in light of the title. I expected more and got less - this was not a "world of nightmare".

It is a fairly short game, and had a decent amount of branching and choices. There was a variety of endings, although a few of them ended "without having things to get messy". Bummer. It is a HORROR game. Either you ratchet up the creepiness to an unreal level, or you splatter everything with blood and gore - ideally both.

Overall, not the best, but better than some.

Great game. Some of the scenarios seemed short, but that's not a problem. This game really accomplishes putting you in a consistent world, I can't tell you how many CYOA's I've played seem to be random scenarios. The only inconsistency I saw was that there was no gun in the set of scenarios where you meet Alice.

Okay, so this was short but I LOVED the writing style. It was a mix of comical and spooky. The fact that the killer was only 4'3 is amazing. 100/10!

This story is older than I am!

And it is rated higher than my first game was despite being short and utter garbage full of spelling errors. There are even errors in the description.

This story should be unpublished by a mod in my opinion.

A fun story. You should probably run your story through a grammar checker first, but it wasn't too bad.

Yeah, ah, nice story-line, but the ending was a bit sudden. Could you make the main character have a bit more involvement in what actually happens in the story? To tell you my ending I was driving to my parents house when I'm suddenly told the the tiny killer actually committed suicide and there is nothing to worry about. I didn't seem to have to do anything to get that specific ending, so it all seemed pretty useless to me. But overall a pretty good story, 4/8

It was a really good game. In fact, the only complaint I have is the title. It would have been more horrifying, had you not tried to be humorous in naming it. "The Murdering Midget" makes it sound more humor based than it actually is.

It was very well written, only a few grammer/spelling mistakes. Also originalish. (i say originalish because there have been storys about murderers, but never a midget)

that was ok it could have been longer and more detailed but pretty good!! if you want to improve you should try and talk to some more experenced players like jjj-thebanisher hes a good friend of mine and a very good story writer!!

haha, on second read through this story isn't half bad. It does get frustrating how easily you die, but I suppose that's the nature of the horror genre. Hope you keep em coming.

Hey! This story has quite a few endings, it's not linear at all, play it again. I got two of them, one where I survived with Officer Reeves, and another where --- well, I won't give it away. At first when I read the title Murdering Midget!! It sounded cheesy, but actually it's kind of tense and defintely fits in the horror section. 8/8

LOL. Axe-wielding midgets! Pretty funny, but a bit too easy and short. You have a nice flow to your writing. I'd make it longer, describe the midget more, have at least one exciting encounter with main character and midget.

That was funner than the title suggested. I thought it was going to be a little more wacky, but it was great. The more I think about it the more i liked it.

This brought back memories of the reading the clasic choose your own adventure books (never survived those). You captured the reader in classic suspense, even a 4 foot physco biting small person. I'm waiting to play it again to see how I turn out next time.
