There are seven kingdoms in the land of the keys. Tech, Water, Fire, Ice, Earth, Shadow, and Air. There is a king or queen for each kingdom, but ultimately they are ruled by the Light King. Each kingdom royalty was entrusted with a magic key. If all of the keys were brought to the Castle of Destiny, it would open the seal on the legendary Kingdom of Light. If one of evil intentions entered, the Kingdom of Light would become corrupted. If that would happen all the kingdoms would plunge into an age of evil. You now must prevent that.

Class and species will have a minor effect on the story, and changes your stats. Kingdom will have a MAJOR effect on the plot and weapons. And no, species does not affect your kingdom.
