So it would be nice if the creator of a thread could change the name but only the person who made thet thread. Because a thread that i made got hacked and somebody changed the name and someone fixed it but it would've been nice to just change it. So it wouldn't have been " Crimson Licks Toes" for three days

We don't have the resources here to stop nation-state-sponsored hackers from changing thread names, I'm afraid. Write your congressperson.

Some advice: Don't get caught up too much in the Forum drama, a lot of it is just to rile you up or make a joke. It might not even be particularly targeted at you, so don't worry too much. Just remember why you joined, so you can get better at writing, or read interesting stories with a like-minded community. The community here is pretty chill for the most part, a lot of it is just inside jokes. There are some incredibly talented writers on this site, ask them for advice and feedback on your writing. I've already gotten some really great advice on some short stories/excerpts. You'll get used to the site culture.

Definitely participate in the forums, it's how you make friends, but don't get too invested in the forums or too worried about thread names changing or stuff like that, it's not really in your control. If you're not comfortable, then disengage and then come back when you're more ready to participate in the forums.

Also your thread wasn't actually hacked. Whoever said that was just messing with you. Like the comments in the thread below me have said, it's possible for admins, mods, or higher-powered site users to change titles of threads. It doesn't really matter much anyways, so don't worry about it.

I agree that the person who initially posted the thread should be able to change the title of the thread, but it does make for some really funny moments when the thread title is randomly changed. I've seen some absolutely hilarious ones.

Indeed, that would make more sense. For now, only moderators can change text/titles after someone has responded to it. It is truly a sort of pyramid scheme or Cystian higher-up supremacy, the only way forward is to accept that the thread is "Crimson Licks Toes." unless you are a 'Cysid' level coding genius.

Her poor fee fees, how will she recover from this?!? :((

On a serious note it's probably for the best that only mods can do this. Winning an argument would become impossible!! Not to mention, some people just need to be named and shamed ot called out for some things they may say. 

People who aren't mods can edit their posts too, you guys are just too noobish to know the secret smh.
