Hi there! I'm an aspiring writer with too much time on his hands and a desperate need to write and show off to friends and fans alike (Yes, I have fans). I understand that this is a "new people help" subforum, and I have only one question.

I understand how variables work. But how do I modify them in-story? How may I make certain choices appear once a variable is greater than a certain number?

Alright, I stink with the advanced editor, but this might help-- after making the variables (with limits and all that), start making choices. On the choices, there should be a stop sign which, once clicked, click the 'variable restrictions' and set it up for that choice. Should help.

Oh wow, this should help. I also noticed the little plus-minus signs near the links, which will prove to be ever so useful. That's all I needed to make a decent story.

I think you'd enjoy my story. Is it possible to publish it by segments? Not as separate stories, as I want the variables to carry over but I also want people to read my story as I'm creating each segment.

(Also props to me for using the advanced editor for my first story and actually understanding it. YEAH GO ME.)
