Ground Zero is fucking epic.

Ground Zero is the best. Honestly, Eternal can suck it!

In no particular order, mine are: Choice of Robots, Tin Star, Price of Freedom, Eternal and Through Time. (the first two are on choiceofgames.com). If I had to pick an absolute favourite...it'd possibly be Through Time tbh, partially because I can relate to the story so much.

Eternal can suck it! Ground Zero is far more superior!

Ground Zero has been taking a beating in the comments section lately. Go tell the naysayers off.

I love the TL:DR comment. Not sure how you would manage to 'slim' the game though even if you wanted to.

Yeah, always amusing to get the "too long" comments.

Anyway, I'm joking about Chris going to tell the naysayers off. He was seemingly in fanatic mode here, so I just wanted to see if he'd actually go do it.

I like Ground Zero too. Endmaster is a hell of a writer, with at least five seriously great games...but personally, I prefer Eternal to the rest. Some of the paths were just so epic, particularly in the Shadows branch.

Just out of interest, what was your favourite path in Ground Zero?

Either the epilouge 2 or epilouge 3 branch.

My favorite of all time is stuck in a tie between Eternal and Necromancer.

 

ground zero is a good one but if you count off-site (and paid) games too then zombie exodus is the best

Zombie Exodus was awesome, but I wish the fourth chapter was free.

Mine is Heart of Ice. It was freely downloadable once but now it's not since it was republished. Wish I had the link...

Out of the free games on COG, my favourite is probably Choice of the Dragon. And ZE..that's another epic for the list :)

 

And I've never heard of Heart of Ice :/ What was that like/about?
