A place to sit back, hang out, and make monkey noises about anything you'd like.

If you could go anywhere in the world...

If had the opportunity to go anywhere in the world, where would you go? I have just returned from a trip to Washington D.C and it was utterly amazing. I felt like a kid in a candy store looking at the Smithsonians, the Washington Monument, the Holocaust Museum and other places. (Of course, I'm so in love with hstory). But a place I've always wanted to go is Montreal because I want to see how much it's like France.

Where would you visit/live if you wanted to?

I want to go back to Dahab in Egypt. It's awesome there, the food and hotels are cheap, the sea if warm and blue and there are fish of every color (including little sharks!) in the reefs right next to the beach. If you get bored with scuba-diving there's some nearby oases in the desert an hours walk away that are really relaxing and there's a big town (Sharm el-Sheik) an hour's drive away for shopping and nightclubs.

That said I do want to go to America at some point. Washington sounds awesome and I want to visit the Civil War battlefields, Arizona and New Mexico's ghost towns and go on a cruise down the Mississippi, playing poker with guys called Doc, Tex and Hank and some dixie girls called Brittany and Chantelle... :)

I hear that the US Bullion Depository in Fort Knox, KY is nice this time of year.  :P

I would love to go to America, because I've never been and it sounds so amazing from what I've heard (my two best friends are American and one just moved back there last year).

I would also love to go back to Venice, Italy because I miss the cheap food and boating everywhere. Life was so simple. ^_^

America is wonderful, I can tell you. I live in America! But the downside is that there isn't much greenery but a lot of fast foods, meaning that a lot of Americans are obese. Go to California, visit San Fransisco; you'll find a lot of nature there! Well, in California in general.

Basically, visit the good states - a lot of them are boring, ugly, or otherwise undesirable. Don't go to Mississippi. Ever. I'm American and that's the last place I'd ever want to go.

Go to California, Alaska, and Texas, but don't go to Midland in Texas! Trust me, my friend comes from there, and she eats her egs with a FORK *shudders* and her pudding.

But I eat my pudding with a spnifork.

What eggsactly are you supposed to eat them with?

I eat eggs with a fork... we all do in my country. Wait, what do you use?

A small tropical island with a few trees just to chill in the shade all day. Then I'd starve to death because I forgot food.

A small bubble of temperate climate located in the arctic, complete with lush forests and cloudy skies, and surrounded by automatic turrets to deter researchers.

Huntsville, Alabama, for this...

Or back to Utah, to live in the mountains again.

Oh yeah, that place was awesome.

Anywhere where there's no cops to get me when I kill my victims.

I dunno.

Ignoring political differences, I think I'd like to see Qatar or UAE. I've never been to a desert before, and they both seem bloody beautiful. If not that, I guess LA or Cali.

I would like to visit Alaska and possible stay there. If I find a good place and like it up in Alaska I would definitely consider staying up there. I would also like to visit Australia.

Alaska is one of the places I've considered.  If it weren't for the lack of availability of almost everything and the scarcity of work, I would be living there right now.  I have to settle with spending my vacations there whenever I can.

A friend of mine that has an uncle up in Alaska. His uncle works with sled dogs and is willing to give us some work up there with him. So I am definitely going up there to visit just not sure if I will stay or not.

A now deceased friend of mine offered me a job as a game guide in Canada.  I kick myself for not taking him up on it.

Well that sucks. I am sorry that you lost your friend.

Being a game guide would have been cool.

I'd say that you should take him up on the offer.  You have to live the adventure when you're young!  But be warned, it'll get in your blood and you won't be able to live happily anywhere else.  :)

The scenery alone could keep me there for a life time. I think your right, I should take the offer because so much could happen so that offer could be off the table.

When you go, you should drive.  Don't fly, don't take a ship, ... do not pass go!  The majority of the animals you'll see will be in BC and you wouldn't want to miss out on that by saving time.

Good point. I hear a lot of stories about moose-vehicle collisions though. Not saying it will happen but you got to watch for those buggers. What is it like, 1,000+ collisions a year with moose?

If you could go anywhere in the world...

The only time a moose got in my way was before they widened the highway.  A young bull decided that he'd give me an escort and trotted for about a mile in front of the vehicle.  I was in no hurry, and it was one of those things that most people never get to experience.

A different time, a young cow moose tried to climb in the boat with us while we were out in the middle of a lake!  Nature doesn't get any better than that!

Most collisions happen around dusk, what I refer to as "feedin' time", because animals are more active and drivers tend to be more weary.  Well, that and being distracted by things that have no business being with them when they are supposed to be "gettin' away from it all."  I don't even listen to music when I travel, no cell phone, don't try to read a novel, etc.  There's too much you can miss out on if you're distracted.  If you take your time and enjoy the scenery, you shouldn't have any problems.

New York City is amazing.

I would like to go and see Spiderman swinging over head in real life instead of just watching documentaries about him. JK, bad joke

I have been to New York once but I don't remember it because I was so young.

Somewhere with cool, breezy weather all year around. I hate the cold. And I hate the heat.

Dunno. Where has nice weather?

Without tornados, the Midwest of America is pretty docile at times.

Montana in the summer or spring is nice - terrible winters though.

Northern California is your best bet for average weather, but it's California; and it California isn't your thing - it's never gonna be your thing.

Maybe Hawaii. It get's fairly hot but the ocean can cool you off. The problem there is crappy tourists everywhere xD

Northern California sounds like the best choice.

Well after thinking long and hard about this the place I'd want to be in would be home. After all I've got everything I need here in my home, and I can always visit places on google maps anyway.
