I like Thanksgiving. I'm thankful for a lot of stuff. Like how I can sit here in my chair typing on a keyboard telling people that I've never seen in my life why I love Thanksgiving.
And that's the thing. Thanksgiving is a non-commerse holiday. It's about enjoying what you've got. But unfortunately, not a month away is Christmas...and Hannukah and Kwanzaa. The Holidays have been raped by companies wanting to cash in on the commusers money as their children and themselves too greedily WANT everything, and that a magical man will provide for them, on his one day of work. HE has to work while everyone else sits around WANTING. I know Santa isn't real...well, that's what they say...but still, the image is disturbing in a funny way when you think about it. Anyway, the less comical point I'm trying to make is that Christmas is all about buying, and it's been stealing Thanksgiving's time - a less corrupted holiday. It's just annoying how people go from celebrating what they have to wanting new things. Doesn't make much sense, really.
Anyway, yeah.
