I have seen storygames on this site with fantasy world maps with regions and forests etc. I really want to make one of those maps for my coming game: Mage's Curse. Any online programs to use or tips for fantasy map making?

Skysworne uses RPG maker and offered to make maps for anyone who asked.

I was going to do that, but they aren't the kind of maps I'm looking for :( 

as I mentioned Gimp. You can download tons of free brush sets. Thats what everyone here uses I am pretty sure.

Actually, you can't get the picture in fantasy version because it is about 1.3MB and this site only allows up to 100KB.

Can you copy and paste the picture just into the text?

Upload it onto Photobucket, and then post it in the source of the page.

But the short answer is: Thylacine.  Totally awesome marsupial that went extinct in the 1920's due to stupid people.  Wikipedia actually has a video of them that is incredible.

Thylacines? I know stacks about them (you know what country I'm from now). Also called the Tasmanian tiger they are an extinct animal. The last one died in a zoo in the 1930's  as they were thought to 'kill cattle' when they were mostly harmless (they probably thought this because of their huge jaw gape and massive teeth). A statement was released by the government saying that you could get PAID for shooting thylacines. Yeah, it was stupid, they didn't even research if they did kill cattle or not!

Skysworne wrote a story game about them.
