Anyone ever heard of this novel series? I read all of the first series and half of the second series throughout the course of middle school and loved it, for those of you who don't know what the novels are about well its pretty much feral cats. They are in different clans living in a forest, they follow codes, hunt in parties and many other various things. The books may be a little too childish for most of you nowadays but, back in those middle schooler days I couldn't get enough of them XD.

The description sort of makes me think of furry porn.

I agree that they tend to write crappy storygames, but we will never get a good one if we keeping telling them to go away.

If you're going to post links like that, then you should do it for just about every single book in the reading corner because none of them are really just as relevant as a warrior cats fan talking about warrior cats on  the site.

Do you even know how Warriors became my favorite book? I was bored, and I saw it on a shelf, so I took it, checked it out of my school's library and read it! And I thought it was a really interesting book, so I read many of the others. Have you ever even read the books?! Also, I didn't even like cats very much! What's wrong with liking Warriors? If you don't like it, why do you complain about people who do like it? Complain to the authors of Warriors!

Besides, the mods agree with us on the Warrior Cat opinion. 

Maybe the Warrior Cat story games are bad, but it's probably because the authors don't have very good writing skills! I will publish a Warrior Cat story game that will be better than you think it will!

First I'll publish my riddles story game, then my Warrior Cats storygame.

You're not the only person to have claimed that.

Even if you did make a good game, it wouldn't matter. People would still rate it good or bad and WC will still be frowned upon.

I find it funny that people here are willing to debate and change their ideas after a good debate but when presented with a case of WC's they refuse to accept that not all WC Fanfiction is bad.

Common criticisms that I agree with of warrior cats story games include:

- Very poor grammar
- Very poor spelling
- Poor use of the story game editor (Like links that are "Click here if you're male") **may be understandable for a first game, but it isn't that had to mess with that really **
- Very short in length
- Limited choices (being male or female shouldn't be the only choice in the game)
- Not original story (join clan, become apprentice, fight a little, hunt a little, get mate, have kits) **If that was the only thing the characters in the book did that you remember, then you need to reread the books again. This time focusing on the main characters, whose lives involve more than just this.**
- Not much reason to care about the characters in the storygames given
-Not much detail given
- Poor way of introducing people that don't know the books or have a limited knowledge of the books to the world
- Clumsy dialogue
- Limited endings (this goes along with limited choices)


 

I've been playing with the idea. However I think my first storygame to be published on this site should be something that would be more welcomed by the community. More than a few here would rate it low as possible just because it was a warrior cat storygame. You, "fans", probably wouldn't like it as it would be quite different from the stuff you guys end up producing. It would be a flop regardless of its quality. (unless it was a parody)

Or more specifically, why does he have to be able to write a good warrior cat fan fiction to give good criticism? It's like all those fat coaches who can't do anything athletic. They can't actually do it, but they can coach well enough.
