Okay. We've put hours into this, guys!

We've narrowed it down to there being 4 ways to get your storygame deleted from the website:

• After receiving at least 7 ratings and being published for at least 1 week, your storygame is rated 1/8
• After receiving at least 7 ratings and being published for at least 1 week, your storygame is rated 2/8 and its length is 1/8.
• Your storygame has all of the following characteristics:
  • Grammar and style poor enough that it cannot be ignored
  • A plot which is poor or nonexistent
  • Poor pacing (usually characterized by frequent and unpredictable end game links)
  • A lack of important decisions
  • Unbelievable or overly cliched dialogue (if dialogue is present in the story)
• Your storygame's central concept is pornographic

This is the final tag that you'll all be receiving. Please speak up here or forever hold your peace.

2. Any storygames that you are desperate to see deleted that would not be deleted by these standards

If there are no objections, I will begin purging stories, awarding points to everyone who helped and I will make this into an article so we can link people the article when we delete their storygames.

That storygame is fine IMO.

It's not nearly as bad as the others I've read so far XD. He actually included a variable of some sort.

We already agreed on not deleting every storygame having to do with warrior cats, don't just throw them up here.

Lurid is gone, so I'm happy. Other than that I'd just like to see any game that meets these requirements be purged into oblivion.

I'm curious whether the first and second rule would somehow be used to deleted the games automatically, or whether somebody would have to report those games and the admin/mod would have to delete the game themselves. Like I said before, I'd be worried about trolls spamming games with a rating of 1, to deliberately get the game deleted.

We'll stick to manually.

That said, I think pretty much all of the games fitting into category 1 and 2 would also fit into category 3.

Yep, but not vice versa, which is why it exists.

Actually I was wondering "Do we need category 1 and 2 when they all fit into category 3?" rather than the other way around.

It's nice to have those ones because I can delete those offenders straight from the category page without looking deeper. The other ones will require people to recommend them in the other thread.

This final Standard is well done. I don't have any that's I'm desperate to see gone aside from Warrior Cats from the site. Let the purge begin.

I believe all the storygames which violated the objective standards have been deleted. Now, please go to this thread and recommend any storygames that you think violate the subjective standards.

Everyone who I could remember contributing to this process has been awarded points:

70 points - Top contributor
50 points - Second Contributor
20 points - Third Contributor
10 points - Contributor (many got this)
5 points - Slight contributor (many got this)

You can go explore other user's point records to see who got what! :)

I'm pretty sure that in almost every single thread, I posted that I may have forgotten people and encouraged everyone to tag interested members.

Okay. :) Sorry. I don't mean to be a nuisance. I feel that those standards provide a pretty air-tight quality net, though, so I don't have anything to add right now.

To be fair though, you don't need anybody's permission to join a thread. If you see a thread you're interested in joining, just join. Tagging somebody just means they get a little message saying they were tagged... Like this:

I think you should stop being dramatic! It's a public forum, if you have something to say in a thread, say it. If you don't, then don't. I tagged people to try and spur discussion, not because I only wanted to hear from those people and in the OP of practically every thread, I specifically told people to participate regardless of being tagged. HugsGoodbye did that and was tagged in all subsequent threads.

Technically doesn't meet site standards for deletion. It's rated 2 with a length 2 and it doesn't meet all of the subjective characteristics. Please encourage more users to play it so that if they think it's horrible, it will be lowered to a 1/8.
