NEED IDEAS! I really want to write an epic, just to see if I have what it takes to do it. The problem is, I can't find any good inspiration. A lot of the really good ideas have already been taken and done so well I don't think I could EVER top them! I need an idea that screams originality. Of course, I'll give you credit for the idea, or make a special mention to you in the credits if you suggested a way to get inspiration that actually worked (so far the other ways aren't doing it for me!) Because I really admire the other users on the site (especially JJJ! You rock man!) and I guess I want them to like me. I'm not much, just a 15 year old girl with a dream to make it big in creative writing. I figured writing an epic would be a good way to show the world what I can do...

Oh... right. DUH! I'm such a stinkin doofus! Of COURSE 3J would've made something like that because he's just awesome like that! But still, I could use the help since most inspiration getting methods don't work for me.

drugs sorry, I can't help you much there. My recommendation is to read a lot and do some forum RPs. Some of my best characters have been from RPs.

Bro, I just commented on a game I think it was by you can't remember it was called Evolution? Seriously bro, I've played a couple of bad games in the short time I've been on the site and I just have to say that while the game has potential, it also lacks a lot of important qualities and details.

His suggestion still stands : most, if not all good writers practice and observe a shit-ton before they make anything decent.

Hey swift. I've heard about you. You're pretty good eh? Anyway, I know his suggestion stills stands I'm just saying that mostly (for me) observation doesn't cut it for me. I need to bounce ideas off of others before I can gather those ideas together to make something "wafflicious"!

Yeah, that was mostly me playing with variables. It was really bad. My good games are in progress, and my only decent one out is Greek Labirynth.

However I also don't see how this is relevant to the topic.

Just making chit-chat. You should see some forum posts they start off decent and get really really really off topic... anyway I just need a few suggestive ideas to prompt me. That's all.

Oh... hi Malkalack... yeah, sorry about being kinda cruel a while ago in the PMs. I was just frusterated because no one seems to like my ideas, and those ideas come straight from the heart and to me when you guys are too critical about them... especially since I'm new.... it just makes me lose confidence and get frusterated.....

All I want to do is write an epic. That's all I've ever wanted to do ever since I played my first storygame on this site. Ever since I was first led to this site by a google search when I was looking up "online adventure games". Ever since I first started reading the profiles and placing you guys (Malkalack, 3J, Solo, Fleshy, etc.) up there on my top ten most awesome people list.... I just want to be as good as you guys are... because you guys are so awesome....

I'm going to go play Spore now. You guys have ruined my vigor for writing! I'll probably work on it more tomorrow, but I'm still...... I don't know what I am anymore..... a hopeless little girl living i a fantasy land? Or someone with potential but is too anxious and not confident enough to see it or even congratulate herself when she DOES get a good comment? *sniff* I'm just going to work silently from now on. First, post up your ideas so we can peruse them.  You sound more than a little anxietal if you're spazzing over stuff in the PMs, not even the (nonexistent) public opinions.

Yeah, I might be a little on the crazy side when it comes to spazzing out about little things. Go to the lounge and my latest post to see all the details about what's going to happen for the next month........

I'm basically going to vanish for a month just so I can get my bearings and think up ideas.
