Honor Among Thieves

You're Caelani, a member of the Thieves' Guild coming back from a job when an unexpected incident and an innocent desire to help catapults you into danger. My entry for Bucky's Year's End contest. This is my first story in a realistic fantasy setting. That seems to be the most popular here so I'll write more like this if the feedback is good.

Springberry Morning

In the enchanted valley of Bellflower, the youngest fairydragons gather to pick berries for the annual Springberry celebration. Written for Mizal's Tiny 'Topia jam. I lost all my progress on a longer game and wanted something small to write that would make me happy. It was hard writing a game under 2000 words, but I learned a lot about scripting that I'm excited to use in other projects. Big thanks to BerkaZerka and Mizal for help with the scripting! Please rate and leave a comment, and if you find a bug in the game please tell me, I tested it as much as I could but something might have slipped by.

I'd challenge you, but slaughtering a child would be unsporting. Asunawolf was on this morning though and did not respond, I am unsurprised because doing things to regain reputation doesn't really seem to be what she's about.

The pacing did suck. I wrote the first and second half in two different sessions, and had too much noise and distraction the second time and then never any time to fix it. This isn't the kind of thing I usually write but it was fun, thanks Petros and Mizal for making this possible and thanks to everyone who voted. There was a lot I came up with that didn't make it into the story, I might do more with those ideas later.

I haven't even started! Someone very nice did offer me advice on Muslim things though, as soon as I can get together a list of questions. I'm trying to put together a small game based on my Thunderdome entry right now though. Perhaps not the best use of my limited time...
