I know everyone is busy with the October contest, but I decided to start my own. This is for people who don't want to do the October contest. Here are the rules: you can only work in a team of three. You can write any story of any genre. Please try to avoid love and dating since I don't need any pornos on my contest. The story must be at least 15 pages long. The story will be judged by me and someone else( I'll update you guys). The teams are due October 25. Send me on this forum your team nickname and team members. The stories will be due on November 15. There are no changing partners. The prize is that you get to brag about it all you want.

Um, the reason why there are so many joiners in the official contest is because there's a trophy prize and a chance to get featured...

I don't think anyone will want to waste their time in teams of three (which are even more of a hassle) just so that they can take time away from the official contest and earn bragging rights.

It's also really weird how you equate the Love & Dating category with 'porno'. Even the worst of the Love & Dating aren't pornographic, they're just really, really bad Mary-sue fanfictions based on the teenaged author's life.

So yes, one of the shit ones that weren't shitty enough and/or pornographic enough to get deleted.

If there's no porn in it, yeah, they're shit. I hold the same standard for everygame on the site.

Okay, all you people interested in writing contest stories, who are already in the middle of writing a contest story, you heard the man. Delete that shit and go start over with some other random thing instead. After you shuffle all your teams around to find a third.

Remember, your story must be at least 15 pages long. That means it needs about, four clicks till the end? Plenty of time for an involving plot.

As long as it's uber sad and depressing it can be one page. 

Lame. You should practice courtesy and wait for other major contests to finish before starting your own. This is particularly true when you're basically copying the format.

No, this is perfect. You can experience the contest without dealing with Irishmen trying to turn you queer.
