Hello, I'm SixtySnakes! Just a random person who is writing this for... some reason. I don't know. I feel you should at least have something to read when you look at my account.

Anyway, here's my address, phone number, age, family members, password, and favorite ice cream flavor... Ha. No.

(My favorite ice cream flavor is cookies and cream, though. If you're curious.)

._.

I have seriously no idea why I'm writing this and will probably never post this. If you are reading this, though, it was a moment of stupidity on my part.

Anyway, I suppose I should write this in as a template format thing which I've seen other people do. That works. And, uh, moving on!

Hobbies: Drawing, writing, critiquing other work despite total lack of inexperience on my part.

Favorite genres: I like a lot of things so I'll tell you what I don't like: romance, most YA. That's really it.

So long as you don't tell me the story: "Once upon a time there was a super special 15 year old girl who moves into a new town and oh my god two hot boys - mean one? nice one? WHO SHOULD SHE PICK?!!!! Oh yeah, and there's a plot in there besides that - I swear -", I should be fine.

Quotes about me: Yeah, no.

Biggest pet peeves: People using your instead of you're, their instead of they're or there, it's instead of its. The rules are easy. Get them right.

Current writing projects: Summer contest CYOA, Crowned CYOA which I'm putting on hold, and a novel.

You mean super villain as first place.

Twelve days left and I only have 10,000 words. ,:D I'll be fine, just have to write like 7,000 words a day for the next six days.

"Meaningless" choices on 8/28/2017 2:51:57 PM

Thank you :0

So far I have 800 words on one page and still wondering if I should cut it in the middle, like have 400 words then a link leading to the other 400 so it isn't overwhelming.

As for the other advice, I'll keep that in mind!

Those were examples xD What I meant was a choice directly affecting the plot, yes, compared to a choice that appears to only change a few sentences.

I'll be sure to find it.

Another random question that came to mind: how much text can you tolerate before you get bored and wander away to other stuff?

(Just asking for opinion, so I have a general idea of choice to text proportion.)

The story game I'm working on has a long wall of text I'm separating with a 'choice'. The choice doesn't have a concrete effect like you earn a new item or discover a new character, but it does effect personality variables.

I don't want to make my story linear, but I sort of need these choices otherwise you end up with 2000 words in a row. :/ So my questions would be: does a variable change count as an effect? If you were reading a story, would you prefer reading a lot in a row or making a choice, even though it doesn't seem to directly change anything?

Apparently also have my imitation of the male gender down, too.

Excuse me? I'm four. Geez.

Everybody else been working on their project for over a month? I'm a terrible writer? I only have three weeks? I'll be competing against people twice my age and three times as good? Ah, fuck it, I'm doing it.

I'm putting down 125 points so I'm pressured to submit. If I don't submit, I would then have -100 points. If I do submit (an acceptable entry, at least) I'll be at 50 points :)

(Question: as long as my protagonist is 'good', is it alright if I make the nature of their powers 'bad'?

The "Hi, I'm new!!!" post you'll never read on 8/25/2017 7:41:39 AM

Alright, I understand how to do it now :D Thank you.
