In a quiet little town, there was a girl, and her name was Kaylie Jones. You play as this 6 year old girl as she tries to get her locket back because it holds her deceased father's picture. It's stolen by a young boy roughly the same age as her-Faelin. He promises that if she follows him into the forest, he'll give her precious necklace back. Her mother told her to never go into the woods, because whoever entered would disappear and never return. A little skeptical, Kaylie enters the forest and follows the boy. She travels far enough into the woods so that she crosses the portal between humans and fae. Traveling through this other world, Kaylie encounters the tensions the fae have with humans. Faelin takes her to the Faerie castle, where the queen lives. She gets special treatment from everyone there, and she's heard faeries saying that she's only a 'pet,' and will soon be killed. She meets another boy there, Warren, who's a bit older (around 8 years old). He warns her about the faerie world and tells her to leave. After the queen injects her with a clear liquid, she realizes things aren't always what they seem... (might be some errors, please notify me if that's the case.)
