Many makes stories too little but some makes a large on. So, I've a thought for this as the title says. Allow points according storygames length. For example : 1/8 length=(2points). 5/8 length=(10points). 8/8 length=(20points). Just a thought.

Are you referring to points authors get for publishing, or for rating a story?

I kinda figured but thought I'd double check.

giving points to writers according to the lenght of the stories.... nice idea. it's pretty fair.

1/8 lenght - 3 points

2/8 - 6 points

3/8 - 9 points

4/8 - 12 points

5/8 - 15 points

6/8 -18 points

7/8- 21 points

 8/8 - 24 points.

I feel this was suggested before, anyone know what the consesensus/thought was?

My thought is that length != quality. Snow is a short masterpiece, etc.

That is why points are also given when a story is featured is it not?

True, but length generally is associated with effort, which is what the points are supposed to be rewarding, right?

I agree with Alex here. There shouldn't be some sort of extra incentive to make one's game long, and length definitely does not equal quality. There will probably instead be something put in place to deter people creating extremely short stories simply for points, with no effort put into the creation.

But this can also lead to people making a story with one word on each page with 100 pages. It's somewhat easier for those who might want points for free, as there's a time-limit on stories( must be older than 50 minutes). In that time limit, the point -abusers dont actually have what to do except wait, and while waiting, why not make it longer for more points?

That's why i also add to this wish an extra feature: a word counter for pages. If a page, including title and link names, does not have over 25 correctly spelled word, it will not be taken into consideration. The spell-checker will help with that. Now, even if someone wants to abuse the points, he must write quite a lot, and he will either abandon the idea or he might actually find his calling for writing ( which i doubt, but  it's mainly against point abusers)

I'm against this idea for the same reason as Alex: length doesn't equal quality.
