I was so bad at story games, and people got so mad at me for making horrible stories, I was forced to change my profile, and username. It broke my heart. So now I need ideas so I can start over again. And no type of persuading will get me to tell you who I was. But if you pay close attention to the pictures I have, you might guess. Anyway, I NEED HELP!!!

Give us an excerpt[small part of your story] of your writing on this thread here and we can offer advice. You may have been an unlucky person to join right after an incident here that caused some of the members to get paranoid about new profiles.

Anyway's just give us a little of what you can do and we will help you fix it up into a story-like piece.

Ah. Well, I wasn't going to ask. It's more important to know that you're not trolling or being lazy, you're just trying to improve. Fireplay has a good idea, showing us what you can do would allow for proper critique. I'd also advise reading a lot of the good / highly rated stories on here. Not to copy, mind you, but to get a feel for what a good story looks like. You might also enlist the help of a beta-reader or co-author to help you once you have a solid idea for a story.

I've also found that some forum games(especially the more strategic roleplaying kind.) can help as well.

Ahh. That's true. Interaction with other writers in general is a good thing, really. I use to suck pretty hardcore at writing (in my opinion, others told me I was pretty good for my age--which is probably a nice way of saying "you could suck so much worse") before I met a mentor of mine years ago. Just trading e-mails and little role-plays back and forth did a lot for me.

It's okay, you don't need to be upset about other people disliking your storygames. It's completely fine if others think your stories are horrible. In the end, it's not about what other people think about your stories, it's about how you feel about them. And even if you think your stories are horrible, if you had a fun time writing them, then that's what really counts. So don't feel bad about writing stories with horrible quality. It's all a part of the process of getting better, having fun, and finally creating something that YOU are proud of. But really, it's mostly about having fun in the process. That's why they're called "Storygames." ;) If you really want to get better, you might want to try going to your English teacher if you're a student. She/he might be able to give you better advice than anyone online.

Ah, I've found more help on how to write from people online than from my english teachers. Sure they are useful but people online can express their ideas more clearly because they don't know you and have no reason to not offend you. lol

If you want I could post about a story i've been working on in my spare time when I'm W-blocked on my main story. I don't know if it would help you at all, you could easily just steal from my story here and use some it's ideas as your own if you want to, I won't mind. I personally suck at actually writing my stories down and forming it into a real story but I can easily make the world and history behind it.

You can come to me for help with the world as long as I get to mess around with it a little. If you ask I might even make a world for you. lol You'll have to form the story on your own though, I could do grammar checks and maybe give advice but that's about it. :)

Well, you've certainly got a bit of advice to start yourself off thus far. I can only concur, and ask you to share your works. 

I've written an amount of short stories myself, and am attempting my first substantial book as of "now". So the choice branching shenanigans has been difficult for me to get used to also. Mainly as there seems to be so much more to consider, in attempting not to be linear especially. Though on the technical writing aspect, I'd certainly be happy to lend a hand, along with this miserable lot. :) 

Here's a tip. Never write any more kitty porn. Ever. Then you might be somewhat better.

Uhh... You know, telling everybody that you deleted your old account and made a new one because everybody hated your story games so much, kind of defeats the object of making a new account... Just saying. >.<

Not really, it just means s/he's trying to do better and wanted to start off with a clean sheet.

Yeah, but if you want to start off with a clean sheet, then why tell everybody about the dirty sheet?

Sorry I wasn't looking at this for a while. I'm making a story, and in the beginning, you chose your character:

the prince, bored from ruling people, wishing to become poor. Until it comes true

a random guy who goes on a quest slaying beasts etc., I haven't really gotten into that one.

theres also a adventurous girl, but I already covered that part.

 I might need help with a few exciting parts, and the random guy character.

the girl goes in the forest, when she meets a werewolf. Depending on the color, they have different personalities

like one is kind, and invites her to his house

the other is cruel

the other kills her right away.

good so far? I don't want to spoil anything.

I have no idea what you mean by color but I don't really recommend killing players off right away. Maybe you could make it so the Cruel Werewolf path has that ending if you pick a certain choice?
