May I ask you to please capitalize correctly? It's a bit sore on the eyes to try and read it the way you have it right now. So, your post would be like this;

"Hello, I'm new to this site. My friend, Pyun, decided to try and get me to join in and participate on this site, but I'm not quiet sure how. Anyway, my name's Crow, pleasure to meet you."

As for the answer to your question; just jump right in. Ask questions if you need help, or go look at the Help&Info. Maybe start a story, participate in forums, or get a profile pic. Forum games are fun, and there are a couple sign-ups if you want to give play-by-post roleplay a try.

Again, sorry. I'm used to typing in that manner, besides writing in stories, and thanks for the help.

Honestly, I didn't get that good a look before I refreshed... I do know that global replacements tend to be a bad idea, though. In this instance, you might get away with using Cyrillic ѕ in the "sh".
