So... Weird fetishes are normal now. While browsing tumblr i had found images drawn of girls behaded and the bodies tied to a rotisary. Surely it is not the oddest I have seen or read about but I wonder why this exists. Is it for the purpose of canniableism or something more as in women are just prey. It wasn't disturbing really it was just one of those things that probably falls under the whole rule 34 concept.

Eh, this culture doesn't show women as submissive particularly, there's equally a shit ton of porn where it's hyper-dominent women. It's true that there's plenty of tasteful subversion these days, but there's still the common note that girls seem to be badass because they have something in society to defy, and boys get to be badass because it was necessary for their survival. It's rarely the other way around in the mainstream, except in things that've come out this very decade. (This latter half of a decade, even. I struggle to name normie movies or shows prior to 2015 where things are a little more even whenever the implications of who's badass are dealt with.)

I guess a notable pre-2015 example is Black Widow in Iron Man, since that's an obvious case of the girl who had to be badass for her survival coming out of the nerd realm, but notice how, in the movie (And this goes for most female characters in most of Marvel's live-action TV shows) she has to win her fights by being tricksy, bendy, and acrobatic, instead of fighting like a guy, who would normally just slug the other guy. There weren't really many positive or heroic portrayals of girls legitimately engaging and winning old-fashioned fisticuffs with guys at this point, and if they were, they weren't part of pop culture as much as they are today. I can name about 3 exceptions, maybe. This next generation might have a little bit more balanced ideas about dominance and their conception of masculinity and femininity.

It was just something i found odd and what i mean by women as prey was that i know some men and women who are turned on by the thought of being helpless and hunted i wasn't stating a fact i was just putting a opinion out there but thankyou for the insight i guess.
