Does anybody also have to wear gloves when they do the dishes? Or is that just me?

Their rates have gone down since they started rioting over there, so I can't complain

I know it is a thing because there are tons of gloves sold for that purpose, but I do not wear gloves when washing the dishes or cleaning (my own house, at least) and think it's weird to need to.
My hands also look around twenty years older than the rest of my body, so maybe wear gloves if you want eternal youth.

Question

Yeah I get that, I don't really know about my hands looking "young" I just need to wear gloves because I hate the textures that have to with washing dishes.

Question

Yeah I mean I don't want the blood to get on my hands

Being a slight germophobe, I always wear gloves when doing the dishes. And no amount of logic can stop me from handwashing, or at the very least thoroughly rinsing, each of them before putting them into the dishwasher.

Question

Wouldn't just washing your hands afterwards like a normal person get rid of any germs?

Question

That's true, but I also don't like the feel of some of the food that gets left on the dishes. And the scalding hot water that I use when washing dishes isn't exactly fun to touch with bare hands.

Exactly!

Question

Also, if you put the dishes directly into the dishwasher and run it when it's about 80% full, you won't have to wash dishes nearly as often.

Question

No, and I've never owned a dishwasher, you and Unescapable are just weak smh.

You guys would have a lot less trouble if you just washed things right away instead of letting them sit there until they were gross enough to be squeamish about anyway.

Question

No, I wash as I go along, and if I'm cooking, my hands are dirty anyway. I do have this weird thing where after I'm done cooking, before I eat, I have to wash my hands twice for a good meal. It's just silly little ritual I like.

Question

Nope. I wash them then wash my hands afterwards. If I'm feeling really lazy, I'll put them in the dishwasher and then put my hands in the dishwasher to get clean too.

Question

Nah. Just washing my hands immediately after is fine for me. I would only consider gloves if there's a ghastly amount of ickiness but it rarely ever gets to that point.

Question

I've never worn gloves when washing dishes and my family doesn't even have a dishwasher.
