Hey CYStians!

I apologize for the delay, but the final issue declaring the winner for the Gazette Short Story Competition is now here! Please enjoy this mini-issue before we publish our main one tomorrow! It contains both a congratulations and a response to recent events. I can't say it hasn't affected us here at the CYS Monthly Gazette, but we are far from out!

As always, a hearty thank you to all the members of the CYS Monthly Gazette, Anthraxus, Suranna, RKrallonor, Will11, Yummyfood, our Mr. Nobody and welcoming Mystic_Warrior as our newest inclusion to the staff!

I'm probably going to drop this back to Creative Corner after a bit since it's a mini issue, but putting it here a few days to make sure people see it.

But congrats RK! I genuinely thought you had written story A because the aliens were so much lighter in tone than story B, you guys managed to fool me this time.

As for the rest, I'm sure that sucked to have to report on. Milton was not the only one suckered in fwiw.

That said... next time a bitch brags about having her child minion call up my elderly neighbor to sniff out details about me, I'd really like to know, I consider that just a basic courtesy. Although I'm not even remotely the one that had the most trust violated in this whole situation of course.

Congratulations, RK! Definitely a well-deserved win. And I will try to read more of the Thunderdome battles.

Also, the more I found out about the other situation, the worse it feels. Very unexpected! I feel bad for everyone who has been affected by this.

Milton, thanks for this fresh, free, and fortifying look at the recent changes. I look forward to continue to work on the Gazette and bringing it to even higher levels.

     I just read the second part, I didn't earlier because my brain went "Nope." when I first saw it. That's not great, but a benifit of the gazette being small is that it really isn't all too bad and the affect doesn't harm too many people. And it's just human to make mistakes.

     Although maybe I should shut up considering I'm 12

I feel like I'm missing some critical context on the rest of the stuff, but I also feel like the less I know, the better?

Did this friend of yours have an account on CYS?

I'm guessing that the child doxxer was fresh_out_the_oven. Did she doxx anyone other than Mizal? If anyone else was doxxed, are they aware of it, and, if they are not, will they be notified of it?
