I read the Hunger Games. I didn't like it very much. It did not have as much as action as I thaut. I found it to be depressing at times.

Then you better avaoid George Orwell's 'Animal Farm' like the plague...

Of course it's depressing, it's a dystopia, that's kind of the point.

I found it to be an unoriginal literary failure.

You seem to hate it. A lot. Honestly, it was not my cup of tea. But the idea was cool (although morbid) and I don't see how it's unoriginal. If your talking about "Kids stuck with each other and die die die", yeah, that really unoriginal. But It wasn't a failure. Suzanne Collins tends to write morbid books (Gregor the over lander, which my sister loves but I....don't....get...) and I suppose  your untitled to your own opinion, but you shouldn't be so harsh.

I have actually been watching the series at a friend's. At first it was pretty enjoyable. It seems to have de-evolved like most soap operas do, but still interesting at times. I put the book on request at the library but then forgot to pick it up.

The book was mildly entertaining and like a really cheesy soap opera to me it just started seeming desperate for attention. It was enjoyable while it lasted.

I love the hunger games so much. the sign of a great series is the emotion it can cause. 

My own opinion of course.

And I'm not meaning to sound like a hipster or anything but I read the Hunger Games like a year and a half before it became super popular. 

Hipster? *screw it, it worth waiting fir the crossbow to be built

I read them like two months before they were popular people kept asking 

"what is hunger games sounds stupid." And now "hunger games is the best why aren't you reading it!!!"

I was into it for a couple months last year. Lost its appeal after that.

Heh. I consider The Hunger Games a phase of mine, when I was still into it. One that didn't live past freshman year, high school. 

Then stop reading after the first book, trust me. After the third I came to the conclusion he just kinda wants to throw depression at people.

Yep. After I read the last book I thought it was a waste

I wish I could go back in time and warn myself to not buy the last two books.

I liked the ending where prim dies. It shows that no matter how hard you try sometimes you just can not stop evil. The whole romance thing bored me as Peeta always seemed really wimpy while Gale risked his life many times to help katniss. I wish they would have focused more on the war than her whole twilightesque romance problems

I agree with the whole romance crap and proof evil never really dies out but why prim why not peeta?!?!? Why would she choose peeta in the first place he didn't really do anything but be there for all the romance twilight stuff while gale is like 

guns? Arrow to the face bitches!!!

I enjoyed the porn parts in it...  I imagined most of them........ but still.
