     Greetings everybody! I'm a guy who enjoys writing. I also really like the aspect of how much a story could change if a main character did something different than his original choice. So how could I not be a huge mega super fan of do it yourself adventures. Thankfully, chooseyourstory.com may have a really great community for me to engage with. Who knows, maybe after some time on the site my writing will improve. Maybe it'll help me to become a published author. Maybe it'll just be a lot of fun.

     Now that I've introduced some of myself, why not interact with some of the community? Why not introduce yourself some too?

On the forums opinions of any kind are welcome and free speech is encouraged, just know that many people won't agree or many people will; but overall you won't get into any trouble for sharing opinions. No pornographic or mature pictures are allowed and if you do post any, you'll be in trouble...which is bad.

     Thanks for the welcome. :D. Hey, you wouldn't happen to know the required size for the user thumbnail would you? I should get to drawing a nice piece for mine sometime. If not, that's okay, I'll probably find it sooner or later. 

Required size = Square less than 500x500 pixels, it'll automatically resize, but I wouldn't recommend anything HD my profile picture is 50x50 :P

No, the Admins are rarely on. You can see who has Administrative powers on this page. I just have a lot of free time and I know a lot of stuff xP

Welcome to CYS WoodenWriter, I'm sure you'll enjoy it here. There is plenty of stories that are worth reading and if your willing to go 'Archive Diving' as we call it here then you should find some very entertaining/well done Forum Games of the past.

I recommend reading from the Top-Rated stories(or any story with a high rating) and stories made by JJJ-TheBanisher, Madglee, Endmaster, BerkaZerka, Briar_Rose, Tsmpaul and plenty of others.

It also would be good to visit the 'Romance/Love&Dating Section' even if you don't like that sort of thing. There are some amazing stories in that category.

I highly recommend pursuing your own published book. It's one of my dreams as well to publish a series of books in the future.

My advice is pretty much the same as anyone else's and you've already read most of them so I'll just leave it at that. Oh, and my writing improved over time while I was here and my English wouldn't nearly be as good as it is now if I hadn't partaken in the Forums so much. You see, English and Australian are different languages ;)

Ah, a little late to the party, m'bad. Nice to meet you, Wooden, and welcome.

I have to agree, I love to see 'what could have been' and 'if only.' The community here really is pretty great, imho, and your writing will definitely improve while you're here if you actively participate. There are writers who'd love to RP with you or co-author a story and help you with any weak points. There are also a lot of well-written games you can learn from. (And you can learn from the bad ones, too. >.> You can learn a -lot- from bad ones.)

Hi, I'm skillfulljack. I am almost never on because of school and such. Have fun on the website if you still can... There are now trolls and people who can't deal with trolls. This website will soon become an article in a history of "once great but now terrible websites."

The older generation are moving on and the newer generation is stepping up. 

You do realize the majority of us 'older generation' are the same age or college right?

I never mention anything about age, Fireplay...

You implied we are older than you in the above post and that we wouldn't be on the site as often now that the 'new' generation was here. I wasn't really talking about age in my post, just that it's unlikely we would leave the site seeing as how the majority of us are similar in age.

I think he means guys, that have been for a much longer time, like two years or something. Maybe more.
