Working on more than one story?

Ok, so I wondering if it's a good idea to work on multiple stories at one time. Here are the stories I'm working on:

No Gods, No Masters

This story takes place in a future where the United Stated has dissolved it's government and is ruled by Anarchy. The PC is part of a Merc group, but an empire that came to power as a result of the fall of the U.S. is now trying to impose itself upon this new country. This story is based of the government thread debate I had with Dracone here: http://chooseyourstory.com/forums/the-lounge/message/11731

Aeternus: Rise of a Legend

Originally it was supposed to be a story about a general but that became very tedious. So now it's about the PC who is the greatest warrior in his/her country as he/she aids his/her King in building an empire. I wanted to make the reader feel as though they are becoming a legend like Achilles and let them choose to be a noble hero or a brutal monster.

Avatar: Darkness Reborn

This is an "Avatar: The Last Airbender" fan fiction that takes place in an alternate timeline, meaning that people like Aang won't be mentioned and the lore will be slightly changed. The PC is the Avatar born an Airbender who is trying to stop an organization known as the Triumvirate from bringing the spirit of pure darkness and chaos known as Vaatu, into the Mortal World. This story will take a much more mature place in the story. Meaning that methods of attack the benders could use but don't since it is a kid show will be used in the story (eg. an Earthbender crushing someone to death and a Bloodbender doing more than simply controlling people).

Which of these sound the most interesting to you?

I personally like the first one the best, and to the answer to your question: yes, working on more than one project helps against writers block.

Personally I say work on all of them. Add notes from time to time to one of the other two stories as you focus on a single one.

To me it seems like NGNM is more of a novel, Rise of a legend seems more focused on the actual empire while Darkenss Reborn is more focused on characters... From your descriptions.

I say you should work on the one that is freshest in your mind, make sure to research the one your doing.

But I'd like to see the No Gods, No Masters story first. :P

Works wonders to work on multiple stories! :D I'm working on multiple stories too (eight storygames - 6 of which have a more than 100 pages...) I usually try to fill a page with at least a 5 - 6 sentence paragraph though :P so I get writers block often.

I can only really focus on one thing at a time.  That said, I have 22 unfinished stories on this site.

I'd probably choose the Avatar story.

Personally, I'd stay on one story at a time. You'll never finish if you keep going at multiple stories at the same time. One good story is hard enough to write. I think you should focus on the first one.

I rarely work on less than two at a time... I'm kind of killing myself right now, though, as I'm equally interested in four of my ideas and I just had two more pop into my head over the past few days.
