It can sometimes take a long time to write a story, depending on how many choices you give the reader. It would be nice if, after creating a certain amount of links, you could receive an EXP point, even if your story was unpublished. Just a suggestion.  

Not sure that would work, 'cos then people make story games with nothing but links just to get the points for it.

True...I'm not sure how well it would work. Maybe instead you'd have to publish your story first, and then the amount of points you got for the number of links you had in your story would be added to the points you'd already be getting for publishing a story. 

I'm pretty sure this has been suggested before, or something similar anyway. And people WILL abuse the system of its implemented.

True...length does not mean quality. Perhaps it would only apply to games with player ratings of 6/8 or higher. That way, only games which were good quality would receive extra points. I dunno, it is not really necessary.

Damn...This idea has been suggested loads of time!!
