I've been rather bored lately so I thought, why not? I won't do portraits, but I do really well on animals and landscape. Shoot me an idea, I'll draw it and post it here. Might take a while though. Here's a sample of my work when I'm at my best. (google doc.) Only reason I didn't put it here is because I couldn't turn it right side up.

Can you draw a wounded fox holding a burning splint of wood in its mouth. It's reference to a Japanese tale in which a statesmen shoots a fox, then the fox goes, grabs a piece of burning wood, and torches the dude's house.

Sure. I'll give it a try.  Never tried drawing a fox before.

So where would the wound be?

The wound need not be visible, but the fox should have a look of pain, vengeance, and determination. If that's a little much, I would understand. If you want to include the wound, I'd say right shoulder, assuming you're drawing him from the front.

Okay. I'm not that good at showing the emotion on my drawings, but I'll give it a shot.

I guess, but I assume the address in the tag would be a JPEG saved to your personal computer. I'm not sure how it all works though.

Thanks.  I haven't really sketched in over 20 years, except for part drawings and blueprints in my shop.

So, what do you do for a living, if you don't mind me asking?

Mostly repair machine parts.  I co-own a machine shop.

Oh, interesting. That's way better that what I do. I tutor home-schooled kids for pocket money. XD

I don't think I would have the patience for that.  I'm more of a doer than a teacher.  Always on the run though, time is money.  XD

Eh, I have to force the patience sometimes. I'm only tutoring one kid right now, but I expect more when school starts. Homeschoolers like to take summer breaks too, sometimes. It's odd.

Still, it is somewhat enjoyable. Nothing I'd want to do as a career, though.

I tried to help fellow students in high school with their homework, and never could really get across to them how to do it on their own.  :(

That is the best drawing I've ever done.

I used to draw dragons, dinosaurs, ships, etc...  I was a real nerd and loved anything fantasy.  Yeah, unicorns and pegasi, too.

I can draw dragons, winged wolves, regular wolves, and most stuff from my imagination.

What I liked doing was drawing something upside down with someone watching.  The picture would look right-side up to them, and you could watch their jaws drop.  :O

I do have a PlasmaCam in my shop, and have done some impressive metal art signs, but it's only contours.  No shading etc...

Still, sounds pretty cool.

I used to draw sci-fi concept art. I had a system for drawing in class. My notebook and the book I used to draw were identical, and easily swapped out. 

Needless to say, I wasn't  a very productive student that year. 

Yeah, I have a smallish drawing pad that I would have open and would be drawing in while having my textbook on the outside of it. Still got a B in that class even though I never payed attention.

I used to erase the pictures in the textbooks and redraw whatever I thought would be funny!

I used to love anonymously drawing penises on female pictures in textboo- I mean being a delightful, model student at all times.

XD I never drew on the textbooks, but I draw pictures of how ridiculously big my teachers boobs were, and add a witch hat and a long warty nose.

So how many arms/legs do they have total? Do they have six arms and four legs, or is it six limbs total and four of them being used for legs? Do they have special markings on them, or are they all one color?

There heads are on their chests and they all have some special kill cord.

Yeah, got that part. Just not how many limbs there is. Once he specifies that, I'll do a quick outline of it to make sure I got it right before doing the actual drawing.

Six ItAintPretty was kind enough to make an outline. I am going to add that to my story, as well as yours. Yours will be an official illustration, and the sketch will be.... worked in in an interesting way. 

Sorry it's taking so long. My parents don't approve of me drawing things like this so I have to sneak in a few minutes of drawing it each night before bed.

Pretty damn good for a sketch, but if you had a lot of time, you could probably work on your texturing and smoothness of shadows.

Edit:  An eversharp isn't the best weapon to use either, but I no longer have my charcoals or even a #2 pencil.

Turn up the brightness on your monitor? It's definitely not the image, from what I can tell.

Quite impressive. The neck and head should be slightly lower, though, to show that it is wounded. Also, the legs should be a tad bit shorter. The snout seems like it could use some lengthening. Of course, you are more used to drawing wolves, so I really can't blame you for it being a little out of proportion. Actually, I would never be able to draw anything like that, so, yes, I like it.

Okay, I got everything drawn. I figured out my problem with downloading them earlier. I saved them wrong so they were much bigger then any site could handle. None will have gone through photoshop for more then just sizing down though. I'll put them up in a few minutes.

Edit: only one will have gone through photoshop for more then sizing down. I colored a pair of wolf eyes yellow for effect.

I'm starting school tomorrow so I don't know how much time I'll have online. Probably none, except for the weekends. Maybe not even then. Of course, I might be able to slip in a few minutes during class. I don't know.

Well, math class is really boring. I managed to only turn in a total of 5-6 math homework assignments (only because I got them done in class) and I still got a B. I had 100% on nearly everything I turned in. I only missed five-ish problems because of a typo or I didn't understand what the problem was asking me.

It's alright, I occasionally visit this site when I'm in Business Stats and have my laptop with me. Though, I try to be a good student and spend the majority of the time taking notes.

I imagine so, not to mention that blue light from a computer is actually a better stimulant than a cup of coffee.

I think that one of the main arguments is that online learning helps keep the information up to date and provides a slightly more interactive form of class work. Not to mention the fact that you don't have to carry around 5 kilo stacks of books covered in biro penises.

Most high schools around my area either use iPads or computers for online learning.

That's a pretty good eye! Why is it crying though? :'(

Also, if you look at real eyes, you'll notice that you can see a little bit of pink, soft skin around the bottom edge, as well as tear ducts at the inner corner of your eye, which are usually also pink.

It was the easiest thing to do? I don't know.

Forgot about that part.

A little too wide with the hairs a little too small, and there's also texture you have to look out for...

...but so far, so good.

Okay. Good to know. I'm just used to making anime eyes, not real ones. I believe this is the first actually. 

Me too, I'm so used to drawing eyes anime style that I don't think I could draw one realistically anymore, haha.

Still, learning how to draw things realistically with the correct anatomy is the best starting foundation, no matter what kind of art style you decide to specialize in, I think.

Pretty much an epic failure, so I tried drawing this cat taco as well. However, I forgot about how much I suck at drawing animals, so this was kind of an epic fail too. XD

And yes, the meat inside the taco looks like cat poop, I know. >_>

Vietnam and several other Asian regions- cats

Parts of Russia- horses

*China has a recent ban on cats; Vietnam eats more dogs than cats (I've been there 4+ times in rural areas, no cat meat yet, and nobody really thinks about eating cat.  I have seen dog for sale though, but not many have purchased the meat due to Murican beef being more plentiful for meals.); SE Asia eats more dogs and invertebrates than they would a cat, reasons being the cost to profit (amount of fat and protein is higher in a dog than a cat) ratio etc. etc.

In other words, even in Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, etc. eating a cat is rarely heard of among the poorer populations.

Please tell me those facts were what you got from some idiot who was raised in the 80s.

I'm already working on a portrait, and you'd have to give me a reference for it to turn out actually good.

Here, this is what I can do if I have a reference. Though, I did make him look younger and have a very slight change in perspective.

Nope. I forgot to shade it before taking a picture of it though. Anyway, you can definately see the differences between quillers profile pic and this. The eyes are in different positions, the hair is longer in the front on mine, and several other tiny details. Also, I don't have a printer to print and trace anymore.

What reference do you need? 

Like for quiller's profile pic. I used it as a reference and re-drew it myself, though it isn't as good as the reference because I can't draw that well. I basically need something that shows what pose and size to make it, along with any little details that need to be added to it.

Well, I can try to describe it, if you want. 

Basically, you draw a baby that's in a kneeling position, inside another baby, in a kneeling position, inside another baby, in a kneeling position. 

I need a visual thing to do it. This is why I said in the op that I won't do portraits. Way too much of a hassle.

No, I just re-opened the pic I already downloaded here and edited it. I didn't make it bigger or smaller. 

I mean when you edited it maybe the editing added more space into it.  

I don't think so. This isn't the error that pops up when the picture is too big. This is a different error I've never encountered before.

^This is especially true in housecats.  One housecat will make more kills in a year than all of its cousins' combined, thanks to the extremely bountiful environment the housecat lives in.

I ended up deciding to make that a novel instead of a Choose Your Own Adventure. Hey, welcome to the site, enjoy your stay!

If you are drawing, you could simply take a photo of it, upload it to your computer via a memory stick (Photocopier might work) or something (Or you could share it to a social media site, then go to the site on your comp, and save the picture to your comp). Once it is on your computer, go to your 'Pictures' under 'My Stuff' (On this site), click 'upload new picture' and then find the pic from your comp and upload it.

Alternatively, you could upload it to Photobucket, copy the HTML that it shows you. Then paste it here (Make sure to click the source button first).

@jasperranz If you're an artist, I'd definitely recommend getting yourself a photobucket account (which is easy and convenient) and possibly a deviantart account. I'd also recommend you saving up / requesting a scanner to scan your drawings. Madbrad is right, you can just take pictures, but it's very difficult to get a good quality file by using a camera. I've succeeded a few times, but not often. Of course, anything too large for a scanner would require a camera anyway, so it's good to have both.

When you have the file on your computer, you can just drag and drop it into a forum post, into your photobucket album, and if I recall correctly, onto deviantart as well. You might want to ask the_quiller, who I believe knows more about uploading visual art there than I do. 

Um, I'd be happy to make a request, but it would be nice to see an example of your artwork so that I have some idea of what to ask for. If you insist, though, I can try to come up with something regardless... xD
