Well. I was waiting for one of these to pop up, but it never did. What are everyone's resolutions? Personally, my goals are to learn how to solve a Rubik's Cube and be proud of my contest storygame. (Setting the bar high.)

I have a vague goal of publishing some kind of video game this year as a hobby project, but haven't yet decided on its scope or even genre. As a more defined thing I want to get a storygame out that's not tied to any contests and is also of decent quality. First the prompt contest though.

Lol, same. I was going to make one on the tenth if no one else did.

Some of my New Year's Resolutions are to exercise more (I am really weak, lol), and to get things done on time (i.e., don't procrastinate)

I am going to publish the graphic novel I've been working on all 2025 with my best friend. It's about 50% fully complete. And yes, I will be sharing it here when the time comes!

I want to finish two storygames, one I began in October 2025, and my contest entry of course.

I want to read 20 physical books this year, both fiction (ugh) and nonfiction.

I am also going to take advantage of any opportunity I get and be unafraid of putting myself out there. I spent most of 2025 being passive and letting things happen to me. And I'm tired of that. I am going to flourish!

To solve a Rubik's cube, you mainly have to learn the specific pattern for each stage of the process. There should be plenty of Youtube videos that explain it (but my advice is to stick to one method and figure it out before trying out different techniques to reduce speed, since those can be confusing at first). Having a friend or family member who knows how to solve it could help too.

To not fail my final exams... On a more positive note, I want to learn how to use oil paints!

...having mixed results so far.

I want to take more acting opportunities! I've only been in about 7 so far, and 4 of those were school productions. I especially want to be in more musicals, but I want to take whatever I can.

I also want to start writing more often! I've started probably more than 20 books since about 2021. I've only finished one book, but it was rushed, cringe, and very short. It was meant to be a novel, and it was only 35 pages. :(

     I want to finish my entry for the prompt contest and review all the stories for the review contest, finish Unbroken as well, Finish some of my personal projects, fix my grades because that one test tanked the whole thing (science...), and... eh... oh right, learn calligraphy! :D

I'm probably going to end up finishing a few things this year. A New Year's goal would be to finally publish:

1. my board game,

2. my book trilogy,

and 3. my musical.

A strong New Year's resolution for me would be being more out-going and less self-contained in my therapy sessions. May be a tad personal, but eh.

My resolution for this year (which hopefully leads into every year) is to not let my health condition get in the way of doing things i enjoy - like reading and exploring! My slightly less important resolution however is to finally finish playing ‘Silent hill’ and the first ‘The last of us’ game!

Hope everyone’s new year has started off well and there one step closer to achieving their yearly goals :)
