Oh God I made such a huge world that I have no fucking clue where to start for the Endmaster prompt.

Ok, your prompt is a story from the Bible (presumably you had something in mind when you chose it and did not choose it randomly?). My suggestion is just do something simple, an Adam and Eve story from the snakes' point of view, Noah dealing with a ton of animal dung (and copulating!) on the ark, Joseph moaning at Jesus for not working hard enough in the carpentry shop when all he wants to do is talk about Biblical things. Make it funny, make it scary, make it interesting, just give something a twist or do something different. It doesn't have to be long - cobble together a few thousand words and maybe twenty or thirty pages with a couple of choices and you'll do better than those who don't turn in anything. Hope this helps :)

Alright, so, NerdyGayWriter has sent me a pm asking me to tell EndMaster he won't be taking part in the writing competition and his prompt is available again. Mission accomplished and well done me, I'm off out for lunch :D

In the end though of course it's easier to just give up and do nothing rather than put the tiniest bit of work in to earn respect.

Unless you genuinely can’t find a few hours a week to sit down and write, because you’re busy to the point of insanity, there’s always still time. Don’t give up dude, you could write the next really cool grimdark fantasy story. I’d recommend still fighting, and if you do manage to finish, submit! If not, take the shame but don’t bow out before the fight has really begun!

Something in you must have pushed you to sign up, so fulfill that feeling and finish your epic story! Only you can decide how your story ends, and I really believe you have a great story in you.

And, you can always just procrastinate in the last week and write a 5k story frantically, so I’d really recommend that you don’t give up!

"No wait, how about instead a whole setting full of demons!"

Accurate, but to be fair, as discussed in the Rooster chat, there was a group of Christians who believed the Old Testament god was either evil or incompetent, and the "true" god who sent Jesus was not the one who created the world.

Anyways; Just make an outline or smth, and if you can't do that, just brainstorm some simple ideas to work on.

yeah, I just had this world inspired by the infernal dictionary, binding of Isaac (the biblical story) and honestly I just went crazy creating all of these details to the point where its huge. I think I'm doing fine with it now but oh god it is hard to start a big project.

Hard things tend to make us choke up. Especially big ones. It takes practice to get that gag reflex to go away. Just relax and let it flow through you.

Write what you know. Just take a major character and make them gay.

So gay David and gay Goliath for example. 

They actually had an affair before they were forced to be enemies. No need for the gruesome sexual details obviously, just focus on their feelings and their relationship and the lead up to this tragic ending.
