Player Comments on The Dragon Quiz!

The think about this quiz, is the fact that you are basing it on fictional subject without having provided the readers with a source from which you obtained all this information. Unlike LoTR or Star Trek, there's no way for readers to know all of this. You could be making it all up.

And I feel like, as a proper quiz it should have utilized the advanced editor in order to actually calculate the score.

I didn't mind the fact that the wrong answers were dead ends. I was only a little bothered by the condescending tone and not-really-that funny comments when selecting the wrong answers.

What really irked me was that this entire quiz is based on questions about a fantasy species and asks for very specific facts that I had no way of knowing. Either this needs to be moved into the Fan Fiction and the original source it's drawing from needs to be pointed out, or it's a rather pointless quiz that can only be solved by random guesses.

I honestly don't know how this hasn't been culled by now.

Umm it depends on the kind of wyvern I personally prefer Nordic battle wyvern a known for there sense of honor and being slow to trust no one knows how long they live because they all die in combat before reaching an elderly age

Yeah... nope. Sorry, but that was horrible. Reading comments, you apparently got facts from one book. I mean, who heard of wyverns living on deserts, where food is scarce and there is no way to hide from scorching heat or crushing cold? And why the hell dragon should have a different blood color, even though reptiles have it red? And from where you pulled out the sphinx riddle?! It's a riddle of the SPHINX. NOT DRAGON. This was just awful. Get more info. Also, not every fan of dragon knows Lung's amount of toes. I'd prefer to know why most european dragons have their hoard. Because it's friggin comfy and warm that's why. Rawr.

Obviously total referencing of a dragonologist bullshitter handbook written for pre-D&D geekchildren. If you want a corny spell to summon a dragon to help you out, learn how to speak dragon-tongue and yell "ODAHVIING!" at least you'll be referencing something somebody might recognize.

I don't know what to say. You should at least have a "previous page" button instead of making the player click the button on the top of the page when you get a question wrong

This was kinda like an eye opener for me. I thought I knew a lot about dragons. Now I know I need a LOT more research to do.

The quiz itself was fun to go through. Right answers made me feel good with the words of encouragement, and I could even get a chuckle from the comments from when I got answers wrong.

My only real gripe with this is that it's a little short. But hey, what I got was fun. Maybe not challenging to some hard-core dragons researchers, but still a nice experience.

I knew most of the stuff, because i was a dragon freak once, but it was pretty boring. and linear. make a score system or SOMETHING.

Um...in a quiz you don't get to keep guessing until you get the right answer-you get a set score. Like 40/50 or whatever. I think you might have also done your research a little wrong-I'm sure in different books dragons HAVE DIFFERENT COLORED BLOOD. The rating should be "no possible way to lose" because if you guess wrong you just keep on guessing until you get it right and move on. Sorry, but this quiz needs A LOT of work. =)

This was pathetic. European dragons, aside from the fact that they vary a lot, were often thought of as much larger than 15 feet, and their blood is generally red like ours. Also, dragons don't exist in Greek mythology, which is where the Sphinx's riddle came from. But once again, THEY VARY. You might want to do a little more studying before doing this.

Not sure how exactly these are real and true facts considering... You know... Dragons aren't real. Except my Mum of course :p

The riddle can just be worked out so the question isn't really about dragons and the last question can be answered by reading the words and using common sense. It's annoying that I have to go back if I get a question wrong and I prefer stories about dragons but I did learn some things so that's good anyway.

Needs work. I lkie dragons, but I like them in a story. NOT a quiz.

i'm sorry to rate this so low. but you HAVE to go back when you get an anwer wrong. Then you won't learn from your mistakes. And how are we supposed to know a dragon spell? We are NOT dragon enthusiests. sorry if you are people.

The structure of that quiz was crap. use the score variable. If you can't use the advanced editor, don't make a quiz. Also, some of those questions were really crummy.

I saw this thing on Discovery about dragons. It talked aboutwhat dragons would have lived like.

Not all dragons are the same, there are many differences (for example their blood colour). I also disliked how you could only pick the correct answer. Maybe next time use variables and have results at the end.

It's great that you cared enough about dragons to write this quiz, but a lot of the info seemed pretty random. Also, like Anubis said, not all dragons are alike.

Bad quiz. Most of this stuff was wrong, and dragons from different countries have different blood. Japanese dragons have black blood, Chinese have purple blood, Europeans have red, and American dragons have green. Most of the questions depend on the species. Get better info.

You shouldn't get all of your info from one book.

Dragons are pretty cool. Since they're mythological, though, a few of the answers seemed subjective, like the color of dragon's blood.

TOTALLY WRONG! All this crap is incorrect; there are different types of dragons, with different blood colors and habitats. DUH!!!!!! I guarentee, this info is all wrong!

my gosh there is no way to lose. there is no story in this game if you cant lose. all i did was keep guessing till i got it right.

Nice Job! Those facts ARE real. The Sphinx Riddle is also favored by Yellow Salamanders, the only type of salamander to be smart enough to talk with dragons!

Excellent quiz. Yes, dragons are real. I only know of the Komodo dragon though. Why didn't you ask anything about it? March, this should definatly replace Math on the quiz catagoey.

The auther of this quiz is my best friend. I think it needs more choices.
