Player Comments on Medieval Adventure

This game has potential. I liked the framework of the adventure and the ability to gain items and allies along the way.

It would have been vastly improved if there was more than a single line of description on each page. As it stands, the story's quite bare, and the lack of pictures means there's not much there to engage the reader. I zoomed through it in probably less than five minutes. Still entertaining, but not engaging.

Also, the fact that a 'team of men' is presented as an item with the picture of a bag implies a rather grisly way of taking them with you.

There are lots of drawbacks of this story. It could be really interesting, but there's no characterization, or plot for that matter. I'm a knight. That's all I know. That and I have enough gold to throw around whether I take the gold from the orcs or not. There's a point where it says something along the lines of "You tell the man your story" and then he is so moved, that he lends you his help in the form of militia. That's great. Do we get to be in on this moving story? There are also bugs such as you save the girl, and she follows you, but nothing is said about her again. Also nothing is said about the 'message' you have for someone in the castle. Or near the castle. I can't remember. These are just some things you might want to consider expanding on, in order to make a better story.

I mean, it's well written, but borig. There isn't much of a story, let alone, lore. However, it's a good idea using items in-game. My recommendation is to put the kight through a perilous journey against a dragon. (maybe add a plot twist later on). Thanks.

The game is cool

too short, some things look like links but don't let me click on them, and it just repeats forever until you give up. fun enough, but not really good.

Quite entertaining. The large amount of action made me want to keep playing. Just a tip; don't make it sound so rushed. To do so, add parts of the story line between choices. Overall more fun than homework.

... Well, for such a short game, that was extremely repetitive. The whole game can be summed up with:

You see bad guys. What do you do?

A. Fight them
B. Run away

... Rinse and repeat about five times.

Very nice adventure indeed. Some spelling errors, but they didn't affect the experience. All in all, I enjoyed this adventure.

I found a link that led to a page that had no links and said "This is a new page."

This seemed pretty lazy, you should check your storygames before you publish them.

Not enough action for me. I need thrillers and longer story lines. I don't just want a couple of lines and then choices that don't even work. If this is your first time, I can suspect this, but if this is your second, review your first stories comments and learn the positives and negatives of the story.

It ends very abruptly and is very badly written. The items could have pictures too.

It was alright for a game of 2004, when there wasn't any cat porn fan fictions. Basically, for the standards set in 2004 - it's an alright game. Today - 10 years later - it wasn't very good.

It was okay, but the story and characters weren't very good at all. It was also very short. Not a bad quickie though.

Needs way more. Jumps around without any plot to make sense. And 15 mins to defeat hundreds of soldiers? More effort and this idea could be great.

Well, it was ok, but you need more description in your sentances. By the end I only read the links, they gave about as much desciption as the text. And what was that about a message for a castle?

Awesome Does Not Accept!
First of all, it's not even done. (Go into pub at one point led me to a blank page.) I also didn't really understand what I was doing, and I never really delivered the message to the castle? I hope you or someone makes a longer version of this though because look at my Super Sonic Bros. Series. Those took me a lot of time to make, although they are not the best. I never got to use the items though.
I liked the effort though. If you have any questions, ask away.

Next to no detail on the pages. A little hint; if it only takes five minutes (or less it looks like) to write a page, it's not good enough.

Way too short, there is no way to lose/die. The pages are like, one sentance and there are only like 2 choices. We have stuff in our inventory but we can't even use them, so why have them?

I like how I choose my own adventure. Though there were many points lacking like any storyline. Also, there are only two links on a page. The game is far from linear but it is more or less like a pryamid.

I thought this game was pretty cool. Kept me busy at the blacksmith shop between customers. Oops! Gotta go sharpen some swords. Wait ... what's that dark cloud? Ahhhhhh!!!!!

I made this game, and I am making a new one. The new one has a better plot and i think better gameplay. Not published yet tho, I plan to finish it soon.
