Player Comments on The Things that you should know but probably don't Quiz

This was bad for a few reasons.
Your style of writing and grammar kept changing throughout the quiz. The quiz was very easy for me also.

"Infinite is the highest number" - Infinity is not a number; it is the name for a concept. There are no numbers bigger than infinity, but that does not mean that infinity is the biggest number, because it's not a number at all. For the same reason, infinity is neither even nor odd.

"you make Einstein look dumb" - You do realize Einstein was a scientist, you had no science questions in this entire quiz....

Meh, I don't think I'd really class any of these questions as "Things you should know but probably don't." A "Thing you should know but probably don't" is something like, "Eating blue cheese gives you vivid dreams" or "Caffine withdrawal is classified as a mental disorder." These were all just kind of random questions.

I can tell that you tried. Some of the questions were interesting. I know a couple of the other commentators already pointed out that you can't compute infinity plus infinity. I wish that when you got a question wrong, this was simply computed into your score at the end, instead of being forced to restart. I ended up simply utilizing the 'go back' button, and clicking on random options until I got the right one, if I didn't know the answer. The grammar could also be improved. It was a decent first attempt.

First, infinity is not a number, but a concept. You cannot add numbers to infinity because infinity represents no comprehensible values. I will also ask about the comment at the end about Einstein, who was a physicist, because the closest question to his field was the sodium cloride question. p.s. thrye333 is my username on various games and websites, just to clarify.

Kewl facts. I wish instead of starting over, you just went back to the question you missed. other than that really fun.

It was basically homework.

So, first off, spelling and grammar. Or, the lack thereof... The spelling and grammar, in general, wasn't terrible, but the writing style varied very much, even within the same page! Options were capitalized wrong and the overuse of exclamation points were the most prominent problems. Plus, these questions are not at all things that you should know, just random facts and trivia. Also, infinity isn't a number, it's a concept which is that the number of numbers increases indefinitely, so you can't add infinity to infinity.

The options all need to be either capitalized or lowercase. There was a huge mix of both.

This game could have been greatly improved with the use of advanced editor and scoring with variables. Going back to the start just because you didn't get a question right was a bit annoying.
But I see this game was from back when the site was still a baby in the early 2000s... and for a game to last this long, well, let's just say, it certainly wasn't one of the bad ones.

Even though I already knew all of this it was pretty fun

Wow, spelling is so bad, first of all, they are spelled negative and Persephone, and also, there were no science questions. They weren´t even that tough, so just don´t make these to make yourself look smart.

Yeah it was nice, though people could easily just go through all the questions and keep failing until they get to the end and win.

I didn't find the questions too difficult except with the dates

Is this all you got? I was expecting some more challenging questions like what is the only noble gas that reacts with another element to be in there. An ok start, but you have much to learn

Pretty good. Not bad.

It's not bad, though it's incredibly easy to cheat due to the "go back" button and no "end game" link except for at the end. Even so, it was a fun little distraction that taught me something about toilet paper. :P

7\10 some questions were easy others were a matter of deduction such as the matter of toilet paper.

Good idea, but the fact that if you get one wrong you have to go to the beginning was a little agitating.

As others have pointed out in a quiz about being intelligent it is ironically full of spelling errors, still the questions were good and original.

This wasn't hard in the slightest... at least, to me, and a handful from the comments section.

There were also a handful of grammar/spacing issues in this test, which rapidly changed, making it not so enjoyable.

But this was made in oh-four. Doubt it'll ever be changed...

Certainly a fun grab bag of miscellaneous questions. Plenty of noticeable grammatical issues hindered the game a lot though.

Kind of ironic that the angel in the final question is playing a lute. Lovely quiz, too.

It's not bad, in fact- it's pretty good for a quiz. However, as others mentioned, it'd be much better if there was a variable-system to it.
Also, I'm not sure why we 'should' know when toilet paper was invented, but okay :P

This was too easy to cheat on--try using a variable instead, and the answers also were too easy. I somehow managed to guess all of them right (probably due to many of the answers being b). I also disagree with the infinite question (number 1). Since infinity is a number than it should be able to be a variable as well, so 2infinity could arguably be the correct answer. I'd rather quizzes not include these types of theoretical things.

Not bad though the sodium chloride is easy for anyone who knows simple chemistry

Spelling and formatting could be improved (and I agree, I wish that when you got a wrong answer you could either retry or keep going, but learn the right answer), but it was kind of interesting. I got a good number right. However, I don't think I NEEDED to know that sailing was an Olympic sport, therefore the title is...a bit inaccurate I guess.

Quite a nice and relatively short quiz, great way to pass time.

Good. I liked the variety of questions and it was interesting to play. But, I wish you gave us the choice to choose the wrong option and then tell us at the end what we got right or wrong.

I got it all right the first time but I was just lucky for some questions. I'm not sure if knowing mostly pointless and probably unnecessary facts and being smart is the same thing though.

it was ok. not really into my intrest. instead of doing a quiz try doin somethin wit like a priz or somethin!

Probably not worth the read. Then again, I doubt why the olympic question would matter to me, but apparently I "should know" it. Plus, there is a lot of other things you could have said in this quiz, and the things I learned weren't all that interesting. I feel like I'm being quizes by Trivia, the Greek god of Where Three Roads Meet. Bet you didn't know that one.

I didn't really like it but I dont really like quizes anyway so ....

I could be wrong (it's been many a year since I was big into Greek mythology) but I believe Pan was more of a mythical creature. Artimis would be closest that I can recall off the top of my head. Yes, she was the goddess of wisdom, but also the moon and hunt.

Cool facts, but your enthusiasm was a bit, erm, distracting. Best thing you can do with this is to make a scoring system rather than dead-end wrong answers. Well, unless you used the classic editor.

This is a pretty good quiz, but you spelled INFINITY wrong.

Its okay I guess. But, last time I checked, infinity wasnt a number. Nope, infinity is really just a word that was created so that you had something to say when you were referring to the unstopping loop of numbers... or something like that...

yeah this was too easy 4 me but some questions were gd. Far too easy to cheat in this game. not telling how.

It's a great quiz, but it was annoying to have to restart from question 1 everytime you got a question wrong. Couldn't you just go back to the last question?

Uh you should have a rating system that rates the player's intelligence based on the number of questions they got right. It sucks that you get an ansdwer wrong you lose the entire game.
