Anyway, not actually gotten much writing done today. My work on POF pretty much consisted of me emailing all my old files to myself so that I can transfer them all to my new tablet

In all seriousness, you were missed and it's good to see you're still interested in completing POF.

Mhmm. Always planned on finishing it, was just tricky to get any writing done when I started my new job since I was working so many hours... But now my hours have calmed down and I'm only working part time, which gives me more time for writing ^_^

Um. 7 8 9. So basically, 7-9=-2. But negative 2 is a negative number, so perhaps if we look inside a magical sphere, we could see that the negative sign was just a trick. But there's actually 7 days in a week, so multiply that by 2, we get 14. But 14 is such a closely associated number with 13, which is such an unlucky number so 14 wouldn't do at all. Perhaps 15 then? Yes, yes. Fifteen sounds like just the right number, and it is what fate has in store for you, Briar.

So... Again, not really gotten much writing done today, but I managed to put together a "Stats" page so the player can keep track of all their variables. ^_^

Been working all day, so not really written much, but i got a bit of proof reading done. 

Every little bit helps!

Just keep chugging along, Briar. A drop in the bucket isn't much, but it adds up.

Still mostly doing proofreading and scripting, but after that's all done I can get to work on some proper writing ^_^

Not written any more of the story today, but I've been doing a "character page" to keep track of all the important characters in the game, what they look like, their personalities and skills, their background and what happens to the character throughout the game. 

Is my favorite whimpering little boy in the story still? You know I have a soft spot for them.

Joke would've worked except it already exists. I think Dan made a comment in one of the other threads about having a soft spot for whimpering little boys and I told him that the little boys were probably whimpering because of his soft spot... Or something along those lines. It was very funny, everyone laughed, roll-on snare drum. ^_^

Not the joke I meant, Bri. It wouldn't have been about Danaos. It's irrelevant, though, since I didn't actually make it. :P So, how's progress?

TBH I not done any writing today. Had an absolutely horrible morning and just spent the rest of the day resting.

So... Kind of a just so you know, I'm still working on POF, just very, very slowly. 

Is there something particular slowing down or is it life stuff?

Right now, I'm mostly re-writing stuff I've already written, so it's difficult to know how much I've written exactly

Done quite a bit of work done on POF last night and this morning. Still doing a lot of re-writing and playing around with variables and stuff but at least I'm making progress ^_^

Done loads more work on POF today... Making a game on a tablet takes SOOOO much longer than on a laptop 

I can't even imagine typing on that. I don't even like typing for any period of time on a laptop keyboard.

I have a keyboard for it, so typing's not so bad, it's all the copy/pasting that's a bitch 

My sympathies, I've worked on my games on my phone before and yeah, it's pretty frustrating by comparison. I've even done scripting via phone before and that is a royal pain in the ass... if you're having trouble getting to a computer, you could get a co-author with regular access to one and just ask them to input pages and scripting as you direct. So. Not a co-author, more of an assistant. Or a computer monkey. Whatever term you most prefer.

Nah, that does sound useful but I do usually have access to a computer, it's just 'cos I was at my boyfriend's house and he doesn't have one.

My problem with working with an ipad is that it times out waaaay more often.

I got a Samsung Galaxy tab, so I'm good ^_^

... Well I did a little bit more work on POF today. Not quite enough to merit a pat on the back, but jusy enough that I don't deserve to get pelted with rotten fruit. So.... Semi-yey ^_^
