Things that are Really Ugly and Horrible

Got something disgusting and horrid for everyone to cringe at? A stupid sculpture? A monster drawing? The Picture of Dorian Grey? Submit it here! This category applies to all art that depicts something horrible, or is just a really horrible piece of art in itself. Or both. Please, though: Keep things mostly SFW. Some blood is okay, but pornographic content is not. Anyway... have fun!

I seventh year of life was deeply troubling.

The one on the left is Meatman, and the other one is Possessed Bob. They crawled out of Hell so that they could fight crime together, because of course they fucking did.

Were you one of those seven-year-olds that watched The Exorcist and were totally fine afterwards?

After accidentally exposing myself to David Lynch? Hell yeah, watching The Exorcist knowing full well what to expect felt like a pleasant dream compared to watching Eraserhead at a much younger age when you expected it to be a corny, black-and-white, Dr.X-like "horror" movie.

NOTE: This is actually pretty tame; I've avoided posting the truly horrific stuff people have drawn from that game. 

They do have excellent taste in games, though. Although, to be fair, the source material is probably more gross than the realistic edition.

The "untooned" fanart. Although if there was a realistic version of the game itself, I'd definitely replay it. Or not, the pixels add a certain homicidal whimsy that mere grimdark "realistic" drawings really can't.

Come to think of it, what do you mean by "Truly horrific?" I just googled Space Funeral fanart, and tbh there's nothing really that bad. There's just a few slightly bloody images of leg horse, a shocking amount of crossovers between OFF and that one Japanese Dream Game, and then someone putting a picture of a topless Bubsy Bunny on a title screen with space funeral on it... I want to know what the context for that is, but I wouldn't click on a link to the source website unless you held a gun to my head and forced me...

It's worth it. Only flaw is it's length (too short).

Ah, yeah. That's the only problem with Wario World too.

A bunch of Tumblrians/Deviantartists made three sequels, apparently. The new one (Incomplete, but what she published already is supposedly the beginning and it's already 1/3 of the length of the first game.) looks like she's taking it too seriously and not emphasizing the absurd surrealism, but I haven't played it, I'm just literally judging a book by its cover atm. There's also Earth Birth, which is about the same length, and the guy who originally made it declared it canon. However, for reasons I don't know, it's now apparently the third game in the series canon-wise, and the second one is 'Space Funeral 2'? I don't know, there's a Space Funeral wiki on Tumblr, I'm sure most of the games are great. Otherwise, there's always OFF and Yume Nikki.
