I'm new here, and already trying to make a storygame based on one of the prompts i found on this website. i guess i'll alert when i'm done?

Welcome! I'm glad to see that you're already making a storygame (that is what this place is all about, after all), although i would defently recomend brusheng up on yor grammer first. I suggest checking out this article on completing a storygame for a contest, along with a few others such as this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, and this.

Really, just read a lot of articles.

Some unsolicited advice. It's always good to start small for your first story game, especially when a contest deadline is attached to it. Things can quickly spiral out of control if you go for a story with a larger scope.

Hey, welcome to the site and joining a writing competition is a good way to hit the ground running :D Yeah, like Clayfinger said don't be too over-ambitious in your first writing project and enjoy your time here, it's a fun place :)
