I'm not sure if this is allowed or not, but are we allowed to write unofficial sequels to story games with or without the permission of the authors?

There are just those special stories on this site that leave you wondering for more. It may be best to leave it be, but perhaps there could be something wonderful a fan may add...

I did. Mainly because there otherwise would not likely be a sequel, but I think it's safe to call it a Fan Fiction, and then publish and move it into its first respective genre if approved by the author as an official sequel.

My story was a fanfic of randomly walk, because I was so deeply touched by its beauty and depth. It is an unofficial sequel to the original I made a link to.

I would figure that you would need the authors permission since you will likely be asking him about the world and characters anyway. 

This is about Necromancer isn't it?

It's actually about Farewell, My Childhood Heart. I'm not ashamed =). The story really got into me. Partly due to the pics.

I think the world for some stories is developed enough to not ask info from the author.

But I don't think I can even touch on a Necromancer fan-fic/sequel. The author has done a fine job of creating a complex and fantastic world and character. He's probably best at breathing life into such a sequel.

I tried making a sequel to it. The next day, my account was banned forever, and I couldn't visit CYS for 6 months.

Drakoblare - I appreciate your support. In fact, would you kindly be the guest of honor to read my fan-fic/unofficial sequel before it is released. You don't have to if you don't want to =).

That's not why his original account was banned. (He was MARMOTLORD for crap's sake. He could have been banned for anything...) He was just saying how one does not simply write a sequel to necromancer, it would just be too... I dunno...

Why do that anyway when we have an equel?

And the way he said it was like he got banned for doing a sequel. Why even mention getting banned anyway if it has nothing to do with the topic?

He probably didn't get banned at all and just forgot his password. MarmotGreg likes to troll a bit.

Plus Nuclearwarfare also asked me if he could incorporate Necromancer stuff into his story and he didn't get banned.

Basically I told Marmot and Nuke the same thing, I'm not done with the Necromancer character yet.

You aren't? I thought you weren't making any sequels to Necromancer. 

I didn't say I was making a sequel. I just said I wasn't done with the character.

So Eternal VS Necromancer is still a possibility? :P

EndMaster, if you do continue with the story of Necromancer, can you please clarify the situation of the Lich Lord's ghost ex-girlfriend.

Such as, why would she desire for you to bring the world to ruin?

And how can a mere ghost suddenly open portals to other universes? Is she even a ghost at all? Or perhaps more than that?

... It wasn't his girlfriend, correct me if i'm wrong but that was a god or a higher entity.

(For a second I thought you were talking about the path where he goes back with his mother's help)

Suddenly a portal opens up. Serena approaches it and beckons you to come with her.

This seems to clarify things, though leaves it very vague if Serena (the ghost ex-gf) opens the portal for you or someone/something else.

If EndMaster can clarify this up.... =)

She didn't have any special powers or major agenda, she was just a messenger that the other side sent to encourage that the Necromancer live up to what he was meant to do.

She even mentions "They sent me here again…" when she returns in the epilogue.

I still think NvP would be awesome...
