This is a cute little story. I’m guessing that it was indeed intended for children. However, even children could use a bit more to the story. The items were also really neat with excellent pictures included as well. I liked that there were so many items, some had uses, and when they weren’t able to be used, there weren’t error messages.

I do wonder a little about the target audience. With it aimed so low, was the intention for the smaller child to actually read this story? I’m not sure that would happen too often on this site, or actually anywhere on the Internet. So I’m guessing this would be more towards someone reading it to a smaller child. If that’s the case, it works well, but could have perhaps just a little more in the descriptions area of things and places.

I found Coco, and I had fun doing it. The different choices were nice, even if they ended up leading to the same ending. Thank you for sharing this with the site!

Only three or so year olds and under will find any point in this game; I found it amusing enough with the use of the advanced editor but boring in terms of the plot. My eight year old sister is on this site, just telling whoever remarked that there are no five year olds here.

The writing was quite good, and it would be interesting enough for a toddler if they knew how to read and use the computer. :) 4/8.

This storygame would be fun for its target audience (children), so I've rated it a little higher accordingly. Certain things that would detract from a regular storygame, such as a short length, are positives for this storygame given the attention span of young children.

On the other hand, there were some weird spacing issues in some places, and you hadn't accounted for certain situations (for example, when I visited the carpet after receiving the yoyo and then returned to the Toybox, it said I tripped over the yoyo again even though the yoyo was in my inventory at the time).

its actually really good, I don't know why people wouldnt like it. The storyline is really for much younger audiences, but the mechanics are cool and i find it interesting that you can pick stuff up, because in most CYOAs .you cannot do that.

This story is very fun because you can pick up items and when you make a mistake it doesn't end the story.

I enjoyed te story about the stuffed animals.

Amusing and well put together. Short but I enjoyed it.

I liked it, but felt like it is for a younger audience. It could also be a bit longer, I see potential in this story and it could be a lot better if it was longer and explored different lands.

Honestly, that was really cute. I loved how you could interact with different items for different reasons.

Although this was a good storygame, what would've made it better was if there were more steps we would have to take to find Coco. Maybe different lands, different people. That would've been fun to see and really make this story even greater.

This was ok. I would have liked it to have been longer. I feel it would be better for a younger audience. The overall plot was fun though. Good job!

Interesting concept, wished it was longer.

This is recommended for kids who are learning to read as this uses simple language and has a kid theme but for mature people yeah not so much.

Decent use of the advanced editor but navigating through the story might be difficult for young children while the story might hold little appeal to those old enough to use the items, decent effort though :)

This was a nice and cute childrens story. I found no faults.

This was way too brief and quick, although you did manage to make a puzzle. But the puzzle had a bug where, depending on your choices, you couldn't progress any further. Such a short and brief storygame with one simple puzzle shouldn't have any bugs.

This very much felt like an adventure I would have thought up for myself when I was four. The storyline is laughably simple and the obstacles are very easy to resolve, which meant the story had no tension or any real sense of progress.

That being said, the game was rather adorable and I now really want a stuffed elephant.

Ok I'm seriously laughing! I have two stuffed elephants (don't judge) and they're named COCO! (I'm an elephant freak, I also have the stuffed elephant in that picture) All personal connections aside, this was a cute little game! I don't understand the bad ratings! This was adorable! 8/8!

Very short, a cutesy fetch quest. I know it's meant for little kids, but it still doesn't seem like much effort was put into it.

If you go to the toybox first, the game becomes unwinnable. You give the yoyo to the toy guard, then you have to leave the toybox to get the water gun. When you come back you no longer have the yoyo to give him, so you can't get back in.

It's kind of cute and isn't too bad of a story if you think about it as being from a child's perspective. There are a few little bugs in the storygame, though. It would have been far better if it had more details.

This was a cute game, I think my little sister would like it if someone sat with her and helped her read everything.

Not very deep or long, but your writing is good and the understanding of the advanced controls seems to be up to par.

Well it seemed like it was ment for a young audience but randomly I found that I enjoyed it. Its a well put together little game and I can't fault it for not being aimed at me as the target audience :)

Uh.. I don't know where anyone keeps getting the 'cute' and 'very fun' from. All I see is a short game with no imagination and linear plot the whole game. There are four (Or three?) items, and that doesn't stir up too much fun. Why can't I use the water gun on the first guard, and beat the lion with a hard Yo-Yo? Take these things into consideration, and I don't want to sound rude or like a jerk.

nice game,especially for young kids, but it's a bit short and there's not many places to go to.

I agree with most of the comments. It's cute. I think you could--if you wanted--make it more...candylandish? With more "things" to do, go through etc. I would get my kids to play with this (if it was a little longer, and you know, if I had kids...).

All immaturity aside, it was a great success for an advanced-storygame test. So, how about progressing to something a little longer and more serious?

I liked the pictures. The story was ok.

I am not sure even children would like this but maybe I am wrong.

It was a nice first advance game, although it was very simple but I guess its because it was children based.

Despite being really short and basic, I actually found this game kind of cute. There is a problem you should fix though, where if you go to the toybox first and then go back and look at the carpet, you can't get past the guard when you go back to the toybox again, since you've already used your yo-yo.

While I thought it was a bit simple, it does demonstrate a smooth use of items. Not bad at all =)

Don't know if I'm being harsh or generous with my rating of 3. The game had no plot, was incredibly linear, and had a sentence per page. However, since it's meant for kids, (I assume) it is understandable that the game has no real game elements.
Edit the game with basic additions. Who are you, and why are you there. Also, allow for multiple ways to solve a puzzle, especially if you give no clues to what you are needed to do. How would I know a toy guard wanted a yo-yo for exampl.
