hey guys. as always i'm eager to learn more about this awesome sight. i was just wondering, when i rack up enough exp points, where and how do i spend them?

You don't. All they do is accumulate, giving you some trophies along the way, and adding weight to your storygame ratings. 

And allowing you to point and laugh at other people.

wait wait wait... your saying i can't spend exp points? i thought you can use them to get t-shirts and stuff?

I'm honestly not sure if that was something that was once planned for the future, in earnest, or if it was just another CYS in-joke. Regardless, there definitely aren't any t-shirts.

I suggest bumping STRENGTH over CHARISMA, but keeping at least an average WISDOM Score.

(Plus taking levels of Halfling Marauder never hurts.)

You laugh, but I agree with nmelssx, that DEX is pretty useful no matter what class you're playing.

It allows you to dodge flame attacks better which even an internet warrior can benefit from unless he's just going to go full tank and get big ass flame shield.

You definitely don't need CHA though so put it into any stat but that.

No, I'm saying Charisma is absolutely worthless on the internet. You just end up becoming a white knight which actually makes you LESS likable and a weak class overall. 

Rather than raising your CHA it's better to just raise your INT and WIS. High scores in those are rare on the net, so you can at least use those to either manipulate people or associate with others with high scores in them who you can find stuff in common with.

(Still doesn't necessarily work to make you any more likable, but it's better than being a white knight)

I hate to say this, but those qualities are rare (almost unique) in real life too.

On second thought, I love to say it.

You guys are a bunch of damn trolls xD everyone knows the best thing to spend exp on is increase your BS and ARGUMENT stats. After that it's probably good to increase LIE stats but it's pretty expensive once you get above 400 - 500 on any skill.

My BS, ARGUMENT, and LIE stats are just fine, thank you very much. In Real Life, we call it PR. xD

I thought it was prerequisite. Then I thought it was potato rampage. Then power romp. Then Public Relations.

Public Relations is the only one of those that I think I could use on customers in my shop.

Although Potato Rampage and Power Romp might be interesting. xD

Take a rank in  Potato Rampage. Your STRENGTH skill won't be enough.

We're trying to decide where you should spend your EXP, and haven't reached a consensus.

You would be best off taking a rank in Potato Rampage.

It's a joke. If you've never played D&D, or another game with a similar system of distributing experience points, then it's probably a completely incomprehensible joke. >_<

Actually, the more EXP you have, the more weight your vote is worth when rating stories.

Sorry! XD But if you're nostalgic for 3 or 3.5, you should totally try D&D Next (which they're generally just labelling as D&D, full stop). It's got the same feel, but it's been nicely streamlilned in some areas and expanded in others. Good stuff.

Nothing can be done with the exp. points, well, besides having bragging rights, I guess.

No, the infinite is hidden. Choco does, I have to check for Magdlee. So does Cysid for that matter.
