It's Christmas Eve, and the shops are bustling with activity as people scramble to get their last minute gifts in. Meanwhile, the air is chilly for most of you(or as chilly as it will ever get where I live, which is a cool 70 degrees), cocoa is warming the hearts and bellies of people smart enough to stay inside, presents are hopefully piled up under your tree, and there is a feeling of jolly in the air.

What are your plans this Christmas?

It's in the high 70s here, speak for yourself on that chilliness thing. Yesterday I passed out right after I got home and woke up with an exciting cold developing to make up for it though.

Luckily we had our big family Christmas on the 15th due to the timing of when out of state relatives could be here, so I'm going to be cooking a nice little meal for myself and holing up at home to watch movies and play games today and tomorrow. And then WILL myself to be less sick by the 26th so I can go see Fire and Ash before getting back on the grind with an overnight shift.

Anyone watching any good holiday movies to get in the spirit though? Before passing out last night I started the Muppets Christmas Carol since it's just ridiculously fun and nostalgic, and Michael Caine is my favorite Scrooge of all time.

It is 50 degrees here and I just got back from getting my asshole dog back inside after he escaped. Way to ruin Christmas, Dewie.

I've travelled to visit my brother and it's pleasantly sunny here at 4°C (that's 39.2 Fahrenheit for those in the US). A sweet old lady I was seated next to on the train gave me an angel ornament she knitted; the Christmas spirit is alive and well!
