My meal today at work : THREE pork pies, TWO sausage rolls, a pot noodle(curry flavour) FOUR YOGHURTS, THREE packets of crisp. You might not like it, but this is the fuel which allows for peak male performance 😎
Not to mention some berries and bananas, might even sneak a steak pasty in if I've got enough time.
Pretty sure it's just the powder they add that Gives the curry flavour. It melts when you put the hot water in, it did come with a sweet mango sauce you have to add yourself though.
That's right. I'm currently buttering a crumpet right now actually AND making a cup of tea. Once my tea is finished and my crumpet crumpeted and BUTTERED up, I'm going to DUNK my buttery crumpet into my cup of tea and EAT IT as an act of spite and rebellion.
British people should be banned from posting in a thread on Thanksgiving.
Ah yes, a resteraunt.
Cheese! Cheese I sliced myself!
It's a weird Thanksgiving, considering the circumstances...
I did. It's just weird
Dang Iris. That sounds awesome.
The wife and I made a chocolate raspberry fluff as the inlaws were handling everything else for thanksgiving: turkey and ham, green bean casserole, deviled eggs, a couple gravies, rolls, creamed corn.
On Saturday for my family we will be taking the leftover fluff and cranberry relish and are bringing the rolls. My folks are making the turkey, wilted lettuce, rolls, and green beans. My sister is bringing pies and some other kind of casserole I can't think of.
🙏
Oh, I'm surprised you remember that.
I did not have to cook this time, my family decided against exploiting my desire to avoid social interaction. I did make a few Thanksgiving-adjacent dishes at work, though.
Start with the one that sounds best to you with the fewest steps.
I remember seeing that post a while back and attempting a pie. It was my first time making one, but I figured that if the saying was 'as easy as pie', how hard could it be? The result turned out alright, though I somehow spent over an hour and a half making it. This was partly because I decided to debone chicken I had defrosted rather than getting boneless meat, followed the recipe one step at a time, and made soup simultaneously in case I messed up the pie. I really enjoyed it, but I'll only make it again if I have time to spare.
