As I have already pointed out, there are reasons for Jews being overrepresented in media (it's similar to why they are overrepresented in banking, in short, YOUR FUCKING ANCESTORS are why). This all does all remind me that a couple of months ago I tripped over some massive thread on reddit where a lot of people were discussing the phenomenom of just how many Indians were dominating the tech industry. And it ranged from complaints (from Indians) about how they were the rudest and most unreasonably demanding to other Indians and that there was family and caste based favoritism, to white guys discussing how everyone else at their former job at X company department had slowly been pushed out, to people pointing out no one had ever cared about the negatives of workplace monoculture when it was all white men. And then of course from the fringe the full on "the brown people are coming for us all, rise up up!" kind of paranoid frothing.

Now of course this all represents what could be a pretty negative shift in things, even less diversity among bug-eyed mandible clicking STEMlords and in a lot of cases not even surface level willingness to pretend like they're not racist, sexist, classist, or what have you.

So I wonder at what point as this trend continues that it will go from, "yeah, so a lot of people from this culture embraced education as a way to escape poverty, then made sure their kids made the most of the opportunities they had and really excelled, thus many of them landed jobs in these competitive amoral industries that their rewarded insane workaholic natures and also went on to give their family and friends a leg up and buy some more hotels, this was bad/inevitable for the following reasons" to morphing into schizoid manifestos about how they all paint the dots on their foreheads with the blood of babies and use them to telepathically communicate the will of the Hive while enacting a multi generation conspiracy to shit in our rivers.

They can be told something that fits the paranoid, black and white "us versus them" story, and aa long as it "feels right" they don't care at all to examine the step by step of how or why it would be possible, is there any conflicting data, correlation vs causation, or any of that.

I mean really? But that's what happened.

In fairness, flat earthism was the GATEWAY DRUG for many of these fucktards. As it became apparent that flat earthism was idiotic, they all migrated to QAnon. And for the record, I was literally there on 4chan when the QAnon shit was still a joke, BEFORE it migrated over to 8chan/8kun. I witnessed that shit, and it makes it so much more cringe to me. I do appreciate the sentiment towards flat earthers in a way. After all, I was once a member of a flat earth society website, where I'd troll people by arguing for things like the so-called "Universal Acceleration" model of gravity, which exploits the equivalence principle of relativity.
