Just wondering, what music do you guys listen to while working?

Also, what are some songs you'd like to recommend listening to?

My music preferences are here.

I've been listening to a lot of Frank Ocean, James Blake, Isaiah Rashad, Bon Iver, and Odesza lately. My favorite artists are: La Dispute, Radiohead, Tallest Man on Earth, and Kendrick Lamar.

I liked some of them and some were a little strange to me.

Yeah, I remember. I'm glad some sounded a little strange, since some of my favorite bands sounded that way to me too, at the beginning.

What do you think of Blonde compared to Channel Orange?

I'm probably the only hip hop or R&B fan that didn't love Channel Orange, I really liked Blonde.

Ivy is potentially the song of the year for me.

A lot of people I know have said that they much prefer Channel Orange, even some that have said they preferred Endless. They're both very different which is great, Blonde grew on me a lot after a few listens.

Ivy is definitely a favorite along with Self Control and Nights.

Nights is my 2nd favorite on the album, for sure. White Ferrari probably third.

The beat switches on Nights are amazing. Love the Bon Iver influence on the White Ferrari outro.

I love Kendrick, but I'd believe him if he told me he killed a  nigga at 16.

K. Dot is so dope. Black Hippy is killing it right now, even though I wasn't that big on Blank Face.

Sadly, I haven't gotten around to listening to Blonde yet. Waiting for the physical copy to drop.

While working I usually listen to classical music, and the occasional movie soundtrack. Am actually listening to Chopin's Spring Waltz at the moment, though I'm also heavily procrastinating.

Here's my mixtape. Mainly consists of classic rock, NSP, some synthwave, and a bit of new wave. I also discovered vaporwave (that's a lot of waves) recently, but I have yet to add any songs to le mixtape.

EDIT: And also I'm Blue by Eiffel 65, but replace every use of the word 'blue' with 'gay', as said by iDubbbz.

I usually listen to Spanish/Italian music or classical, but on occasion I indulge in the 80s and 90s music. Love that stuff, it's my favorite!

Duran Duran, Paris Texas, Queen, Beastie Boys, The Beatles, Billy Idol (heck yeah), Bon Jovi, Eagles, Foo Fighters.....they are my favorites.

Shit, forgot to mention Queen, I HAVE DISHONORED MYSELF!

When I'm doing chores or any other work that doesn't require me to think, I'll be listening to a podcast or commentary.

If I'm working on something important that requires me to deliberate on many details, I'll usually 1) not be listening to music, 2) have on a looped rain track via an app called Infinite Storm, or 3) I'll have this playlist on a super low volume.

If I'm just working on regular homework, anything's fine really so I'll usually be listening to the playlist on my phone, or be in a group chat with friends.

I think we were all Cool74 once, back when Cool was cool. I remember having Malkalack's profile picture when I was trying to dupe someone into thinking there was a glitch. (Or, there actually was a glitch at the time, and it made people think he had my profile picture, so I swapped to add to the madness.)

I do know that it's other existing member. I'm just unnerved that it's Malk and not... err... what's her name again? Anyways, it's quite disturbing.
