Please any good sports story suggestions?
And to all good writers out there, sports is an interesting genre. You should grace us readers with interesting stories about sports like soccer, basketball etc.

Well one person already making a sports related story for the prompt contest, so I guess you can look forward to that one. (Assuming Wizzy doesn't flake out)

I can't think of any sports stories we have on here though, I feel like we probably have some low rated ones somewhere. Probably will make a sports tag though just to have it since we like labeling things around here.

Pretty sure you deleted the sports tag, because no one uses it. It was on the same forum thread where people were defending the spiritual tag's existence. 

Apparently Thara accidentally deleted it back in 2021.

I got an idea for a sports story that I'm working on. You're right, we definitely need sports games, so I'm going to try and make a sports-drama game.

Do gladiatorial contests count as sport? :]

Yeah. Briar and Malk made stories involving gladiators. Might be one or two more I'm forgetting.

Honestly sort of surprised we don't have a few more stories revolving around violent combat of some sort. (Gladiators, vehicle combat, extra violent version of some game involving a ball, a death row game show of some sort, etc) maybe there's some lurking about, I dunno.

Like I've said before, if someone lists all the sports related stories and if there's enough of them, I'd make the sports tag again.

Maybe we can do a sports-related contest? The prompt is open ended but you focus on a sport. We might get a solid 8 to 10 new story games

Yeah probably could do that, though it wouldn't be until later next year unless someone is going to run one between now and New Year's Eve, but I think contests are done for this year.

The yearly prompt contest generally starts on New Year's day and runs somewhere between March 1st and April 1st. So it'll have to be after that.

Alright I've re-established the "Sports" tag and assigned a whopping 3 stories with it. (Drive, Capture the Flag, and Price of Freedom. I don't think there are any more but feel free to mention them)

There will be at least one sports related prompt for the upcoming prompt contest and at some point there probably will be just an outright sports related contest at some point to fatten up the tag.

I’ll be on the lookout for that sports based prompt :)

Regarding the sports tag, there was a pro wrestling story that belongs to that tag, so there will be 4 sports stories with the pro wrestling one included

I've been keeping an eye on the sports stories because I really want to write my own.

Forgot we had a wrestling based story on here. Not surprised Thara was the one who commended it.
