The whole Russian "thing" is overblown. Many of you may not recall the Cold War or Reagan's policies, but the anti-Russian propaganda is just that, propaganda. Yes, he is a dictator in many ways, but he's Russian. The citizens like it for the most part, possibly because of foreign policy overshadowing the economy, but Russians are a stalwart people. That's why no army has ever taken them. Never. Brutal winters, huge stretch of land, difficult.
Now that we have Trump as President, I'm actually hoping to see an alliance where we can crush all other nations under our boots. Maybe drones spying on everyone and sending nanobots to manipulate emotions. Kidding. Hopefully, ideologies, religions, free market policies, will be subsumed by a lasting peace due to two powerful nations threatening a nuclear or technological apocalypse.
When it comes down to it, we're all stuck on a tiny planet with 25% landmass, and need to team up and get the hell out, not war over this little petri dish of rock.
