Hey there, the names Logan and I'm new here. I've been looking through this site for quite a while and after playing a few games decided to join. Mostly to create my own, which I will probably publish at some point in the far future after I stop being self-conscious of my horrid writing. 

There isn't much that anyone really needs to know about me besides I'm fairly old and have little interest in most things people find interesting. One thing about me that seems to be a problem on most forums is that I have a rather sarcastic sense of humor and to most people that = I'm a huge dick. I'll try my best to keep the sarcasm to a low when conversing with others on this site. 

Believe me, I'm a lot nicer than I seem.

So thanks for reading (I guess) and I look forward to being a part of this community.

Given the huge number of aspies on this site, your attempts at sarcasm are probably going to be lost on most people anyway. In fact, we're fairly certain at least one guy on here isn't even human and is in fact a robot attempting to understand human emotion.

Also the other half of the site consists mainly of budding sociopaths, so being a huge dick is pretty much the norm.

I'm starting to see that now that I've looked through a few threads. Guess I won't be all that out of place unlike in most forums. Good to know for future reference.

Not really....I prefer emotionally challenged. Its not that I don't have a conscious its just that I don't usually adhere to it. I'm not quite up to the standards of a Sociopath and doubt I ever will be. So...no, not a sprouting sociopath. Just seem like one.

Sadly the concepts of empathy, conscience and morality aren't lost on me so I can't be a proper sociopath. I probably have some sort of minor form of Schizoid Personality Disorder though.

Definitely Danaos. You tend to get pissed at people just when you think they might be making fun of you, but that's a pretty human emotion.

Danaos on the other hand you could call names to his face and he would be more genuinely puzzled than anything else and then proceed to ask why do things cry out in pain when you put a blowtorch to them.

Speaking as someone who has a relatively high tolerance for pain and not prone to exclamations (except in writing), I have to say that the couple of times that I've passed an acetylene torch too close to my skin I have yelped.

Kitty porn???? Is that seriously a thing? I mean as a person who has a basic understanding of feline anatomy I didn't think people would actually get their rocks off to that kind of thing. But then again I've seen stranger things. Rest assured I'm neither a pre-pubescent teen (I'm actually a 25 year old man child) nor someone who finds interest in fanfiction/kitty porn.

I'll get around to finding a profile picture at some point.

Kitty porn = Warrior Cat Fanfics

It go the nickname because the only exciting thing that happens in those fanfics, and the parts that have the most detail, is the mating time between the main character and some random cat you only just met.

Not sure I've ever heard of Warrior Cat. Don't really care what it is so I won't bother googling it, since it sounds like something for children.

What the heck are kids reading these days? 

Anyway from an outside view that actually sounds kind of awesome (the books I mean not the crappy fan fics.) I would read the series if I were more inclined towards animal perspectives, but as it stands I'm not all that interested in reading about the lives of cats (fictional or not.) 
 

9-13 year olds writing anything in general is a bad idea. Unless they can properly understand the themes surrounding the thing they are writing fan fiction about. From what I'm hearing (and I actually went and played a game like two seconds ago out of curiosity) they are basically ignoring most of the elements that actually make it interesting. 

....I'm 13 and I'm writing things like this, and proof-read for a game that was a 7/8, unpublished, added onto, and is yet to be re-published.

I'm pretty sure they could write just fine if they wanted to. I mean, if they read dozens of those giant books, then surely they must have some sort of literature sense.

Nice . I don't mean they shouldn't write in general. I mean they shouldn't write if they don't understand the stuff they are writing about. Obviously not all kids are illiterate morons, in fact I know plenty who could give published authors a run for their money. Its the kids that take something that has meaning and strip it down to the bare essentials that really shouldn't be wasting their time - I'm all for learning through trial and error but keep the error to yourself until you've got a better understanding going on. 

(On another note: I like what you've got going there, you certainly do break the stereotype.)

Edit; Also, I'm pretty sure that the sarcasm is going to be lost on me as well. Or I'll think things are sarcastic when they're not. Either way, I don't really care.

I've role-played a bit before. Not sure how active I could be but I'll look into it.
