Ladies, and gentlemen of CYS, it is time, we talk about something, rather important, don't you think? So, my question is,  how did you find this little slice of Heaven that we call Choose Your Story?

Read an EndMaster tale, then poked around, and then I decided to sign up.

My first few days were driven by a friend's advice, which is how my username, Wolf Heart, and the Wolf Quiz were born.

I read a story called Choice of Zombies on the website called Choice of Games, and then decided I wanted to find a choose your story site that was free. Then found this place, and have been here ever since. Here, https://www.choiceofgames.com/zombies/ if you want to try it. I thought it was good, and about the only free game there.

Isn't Choice of the Dragon free, though?

Come to think of it, yeah, but finding a mate is the hardest thing about the game. Never was able to do it.

I think I managed to find a mate there after browsing the Internet for a guide.

Whenever you're stuck just stop trying and ask for help.

I looked, but there was nothing. Just decided to beat it without a mate. Oh well, the lonely life for me.

Try this.

Basically you just focus on improving one certain stat, and when you get to the mate selection part try to impress the female that best matches the stat you've been focusing on. For example if you want the brutality-based dragon to be your mate, increase your brutality and try plundering a village for her.

Makes sense, I will have to try, as soon as I am done getting pictures for my stories items, thanks. And a thanks for AlexP for fixing that picture bug problem.

So, my world's been shattered today, in ways I don't think anyone can fathom. I'm simultaneously ashamed, happy, and disappointed.

Didn't realize it was difficult to get a mate in that game, I did it on my first play through.

Pfft, that's nothing. I heard a rumor Endmaster even found a mate in real life, and didn't have to look up a guide on the internet or anything.

All this time I thought it was some cruel joke.

There is a good flaw that the game had. So one of my traits was really high, around 90, you know to impress a female. One time when I did something that would improve the trait, it said that it increased, but when I checked, it decreased. 

Yeah, I got a mate on the second playthrough. You just have to have high enough stats and not do anything to piss them off

No lie, it was summer, I had nothing to do, and I decided I wanted to make a CYOA like Choice of the Dragon except quirkier—and where you can actually get a mate, though now today I find out that I've just been stupid all these years—and so one Google search later, and here I am, bearing now 2.5 years of negligible progress.

7th grade language arts. The teacher had the class read Finals Week and do a CYOA project. I finished reading it early, and so he said I could read other ones while I waited. The first one I stumbled upon that didn't have a maturity rating of 7/8 was Homo Perfectus, and I got hooked. 

Heh, I remember for the longest time I though End Master was my language arts teacher in disguise. XD 

How do you know he isn't? ^_^

I understand that phrase stands for a much less pleasant term, but I have to ask why someone would sweeten their tea with both sugar and honey.

Clearly they should be drinking it black, like a civilized person. 

Hey, man, I like my tea bitter, but I find it has to be cold and at least lightly sweetened to be palatable.

Hey, whereabouts do you live? A lot of tea shops have really good stuff that doesn't need sugar to enjoy.

Our take on tea is basically a syrup with a little lemon juice occasionally mixed in.

It was not suppose to be used like that. It is used in the movie Madagascar, if you want to know where it came from.

I acknowledged the use of the phrase as a reverse acronym for the word "shit", in case you missed that. I don't see what bars me from addressing the absurdity of sweetening tea with both sugar and honey, though.

Well, using both honey and sugar won't necessarily increase your caloric intake, assuming you used, say, half the amount of sugar you would use to sweeten a cup of tea mixed and half the amount of honey you would use. It still wouldn't make much sense to use both.

It was a Thanksgiving Week, I think--that week was spent in Mexico, sitting on my bed wondering with my iPhone 3G what I was to do. The only things that seemed available was to swim and sit in here and surf the web. So I took the chance and searched "story game" and this came up. I poked around for like a day and then decided, "Hey, I know enough about warrior cats. How about I make one?" And thus, WCRPS was born.

Looked up "Choose Your Own Adventure," got tired of trying to find a good story on Choice of Games. I then tried the next likely result I saw, which resulted in my coming here and getting hooked.

I'm trying to be a little more active in the community, I just keep posting in threads that get end up being purged. As for trolling, I don't intentionally do so. The closest I can think of to doing so would be when I commented to one of Ryder's shitposts spam posts during his big "attack" on the site.

Yeah, that happens, anything that has something that the mods do not like, or if it is not appropriate then it gets thrown away. You just kind of have to look, and see if the thread is going to be something the mods will allow. But on the other hand, it is good for you to get out and be a part of the community. So welcome, I hope you enjoy the forums!

I played a game on Newgrounds that lightweight was a CYOA game, so I googled zombie choose your story games and found this site. So, boredom.

I stumbled across this awesome site on Google searching for create your own adventure games. I've been searching for a site like this and was thrilled that one existed!! :D
