I created my account about two days ago and I noticed that every profile has a Order catagory on their profile name. Mine is Warden. What are those for?

How come? I looked at the About section and Wardens seemed to be the lowest member wise. 

I think you're mixing up commendations and member count. Each member is assigned an order randomly upon account creation, so there should be an approximately equal number of members in each order.

Commendations are handed out for valuable forum posts, high-quality games, etc. The wardens, whether through a vicious cycle or some other inexplicable reason(inherently lazy...?), has a major deficit in commendation count. It's become a running joke.

Oof. Lol. Well, when it comes to online things, I always try to remain active (also, I'm SUPER talkative, if you haven't noticed, lol) but life can get in the way. :,)

Let me help make this clearer: I'm unsurprised you're a Warden because you've been here a few days with all this time to run back and forth all over the forum, but haven't managed to do either of the two things activity is judged by: reading a story or attempting to write one.

Actually, funny you mention that, I am currently in the process of reading Will11's zombie story AND writing my own story (in a notebook irl so I can see all my thoughts), that has diffrent endings each time based on your choices, for the Crisis challenge. ON TOP OF THAT I'm also doing summer classes for college irl and can't fully work on it for as much as I would like. But I'm still diligently working on my story. :)

Her profile says she's 19, and yes that was pretty much my reaction too.

Sages really are objectively the best. I know it may seem like we're in an embarrassing third place, but our commendation spread speaks of our members pulling their own weight.

Architects meanwhile are carried by Will and Ogre (who honestly I have always suspected were the same person due to their suspicious unexplained fondness for a certain number...).

And the Marauders have End and Ninja. How the hell is anyone supposed to compete with that?

Even the lowly Wardens owe over a fifth of their comms to Sindriv writing those Homo games several years ago.

You're thinking of Miniking who had the review war with Thara.

One needs only 42 comms to break into the top 20 list of Wardenhood.

And then you're there to stay, because most of that list are just random people who did something years ago, and now their achievement sits collecting dust with no challengers.

As originally conceived, the Warden situation would've been even sadder, JJJ had made it so that only games published after commendations were added could be commended. You'd all be losing Sindriv entirely.

And probably most of the others, seriously, no idea who half of them even are.

It was 32 comms to reach the top Wardens until recently, and I think it only changed because some random Warden game got commended on accident.

Crissie here wrote a 5/8 game in 2012, that in 2021 Thara commended for some reason, possibly out of pity or by mistake.

Before that, the previous number 20 was MicroPen.

Though what knocked him off the board was actually this person getting a dutchman's praise back in January.

The fact it's not even the first, but randomly a part of the third in a series where the second is missing is even better.

I hope that at least twenty wardens start writing better stories to kick that guy off the leaderboard...

Yeah that is a strong suit on the part of the Sages, and honestly I'm still not at all used to Architects having the second most comms. Architects have really had a good past few years with Mystic sort of leading a charge back when she was winning back-to-back prompt contests, and now Will's just raking them in with his pr*ductivity.
